MINDCAST 009: DJ NORTHERN

Groovy drums and sharp bass lines coming from Parisian producer @e_loi. With his deep and nostalgic tracks, you can still get the energy of the house music soul. This 7th release from Everybody In starts off with "Airport Blue" and "Synthé et Amour" and will get you into the summer evocative mood with experimental textures, played around with synths, guitar pedals and an old tape machine.

"Deep %" and "I've Been There Before" are more contemplative and introspective, shaped by melodic bass and ambient atmospheres creating a depth that is difficult to resist. The last stop of the EP is at "2016", an unreleased track re-edited exclusively for Everybody In. Eloi worked on progressive and trippy ascent sounds, mixing some charming synths with thick percussions that mess things up. A sublime and emotional EP, we love it!

This EP was born out of the curiosity of reconstructing hidden sounds in my memory of the great influences of Spanish pop from the 80's, combining them with some elements of techno as in “Bichidisco” and happier synthesizer sequences in “In die dance”, and in “Decadance” we hear a more melancholic melody that brings back autumn nostalgia. Includes remixes from Mexican artist Umvral and Argentinian Panko.

The sunlight beamed down upon the castaway town. The golden brown bricks which upheld the churches and houses of the villagers had long stood proudly by the seaside. It was a beautiful place of dreams and elegant wishes. Infesta siesta was written on the hanging sign which blew back and forth by the wooden beach shack. As he marched boldly across the sand he looked out towards the royal blue ocean and watched the gulls soar overhead. He took a deep breath in and jumped. 

Internal N.Y. Rhythms appears on a new four track ep from Portugese receord label Discos Paraiso. This is the first release on the newly formed record label.
