His extensive musical background is the spirit behind his dance music. Erta has been building a rapidly growing catalogue of house, techno, electro and breakbeat releases, receiving critical acclaim for records on labels such as DJ International (Chicago), Exploited Records, Twirl, and many others.

DJ resident at Club Church in Amsterdam, and co-founder of the party PULVA, he has played in Berlin as well as internationally in Amsterdam, Sofia, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Budapest, Kiev, Prague, Lisbon, Milan, Leipzig, Düsseldorf, Kölln and for radio such as Red Light in Amsterdam, Rinse FM, HÖR to name only a few.

Roberto Mantovan is a physicist, runner, and music enthusiast. Under the pseudonym Robidat, he performs as a dj since 1991, date of purchase of his first vinyl (FUSE, plus8 #013). Since then, he never abandoned the turntables, djing in Italy and Europe with some good friends like Adriano Canzian, Wolfgang Flür (ex Kraftwerk), Daniel Meteo, …. Djsets from Robidat are ONLY VINYL, with a powerful mix of percussive techno, house, and oldschool acid sounds, without forgetting the most exciting novelties from the electronic music scene. Robidat establishes 51Beats “an electronic experience” in 2008, an independent label based in Milan, which is devoted to discover new talents in the electronic music scene. In 2010 Robidat compiles the 2CD “Gravity and Quantum Mechanics”, nominated in 2011 at “QWARTZ Electronic and New Music Awards 7” in the “best compilation” category. To celebrate the 15th years of 51Beats, Robidat compiles the 3rd episode of “Gravity and Quantum Mechanics”, which is available as a limited edition CD.

THE MOSKALUS MIX SERIES #174: Robidat

For our next premiere, we check out a recent release by Russian producer @Caprithy on a label curated by @drvgcvltvre called 'New York Haunted' 

This Moscow-based producer is on a search to find common ground within Techno, Electro, and Experimental music. His first release was a track on cassette compilation of the New York label @dirtytapes - After that, he released a debut vinyl EP 'The Room' on the @Isaiah-Tapes, which includes 3 dusty Experimental tracks about his experience with loneliness. His third official release is the one we are premiering a track from. The 4 song EP is a futuristic story about the failed journey to another planet on the rocket called 'Ariane 6'. 

The track selected to premiere for @DarkScienceElectro is the opening track of the EP which sets the bar very high right off the bat. 'Odyssey' is an optimistic track marking the launch of the rocketship adventure that the EP expresses conceptually through sound. This 808-drenched track features a pulsing bass that moves the song forward while light percussive flourishes give the song its necessary body. My favorite part of the track is the combination of the plucky lead and the pad that drops in the second half of the song. Absolutely recommended. This was originally released on May 21st, 2018 and is available now via the link below.

PREMIERE: Caprithy - Odyssey (New York Haunted)

The fresh Berlin-based @AuraDinamica releases its second EP, this time from the label boss Portrait (@PortraitAka). The three-tracker, as well as the labels general sound, can be described as modern techno with an atmospheric bent. 

Monument premieres the title track of the release, remixed by @Rhyw, half of the @Cassegrain duo. The Vitra EP is out in September.

MNMT Premiere: Portrait – Vitra (Rhyw Remix)

Maltese @Sound-Synthesis-official is an active member of the small but healthy electronic music community of this tiny island, which lies in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. With this moniker, he started his career in 2009 by releasing his first work on the @paul-blackford fronted 'Militant Science'. After some releases in different netlabels and a couple of side projects, this release on @NebulaeRecords entitled IC 4406 is a 4-track EP with a clear Electro flavor, dreamy atmospheres, and epic synth layers, all seasoned with some acid drops. This will be available on September 27th, 2019.
