BRVNOV is the new face of Bruno Vieira, an artist who breathes music in many dimensions. A true Pernambucano at heart and a multi-instrumentalist by instinct, he forged his own path in music amid a family of established artists, allowing his sound to speak for itself. From a young age, the guitar first, and later the electric guitar, became a part of him, serving as his creative extension and primary tool of expression. When he realized this relationship was no longer just a passion—it was his language, his essence—it instinctively connected him to the sound of synthesizers and the burgeoning electronic music scene as we know it today. The year was 1989. Still a teenager and prohibited from going to clubs, he expanded his connection to electronic music when he was invited by DJs he met while digging for records in Recife—his hometown—to perform as a DJ on radio programs at Transamérica and Cidade. During the first decade of his career, from 2000 to 2010, while performing under the name Bruno V, he established himself as one of the leading names in the Brazilian electronic scene, playing at the iconic Skol Beats festivals in 2002 and 2005, Creamfields, among others, as well as all the major clubs of the time.  In 2015, after taking a break from his career to work abroad as an executive, he returned with a new musical proposal, giving life to Duoprop. This collaborative project gained significant recognition, even being chosen by top DJs like Hardwell, David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, Tiësto, and Paul Van Dyk to open their tours in Brazil that year. The highlight of this return, and also a farewell moment to the major festivals, was his performance at the first edition of Tomorrowland in Brazil in 2015. After that, Bruno moved abroad again, resuming his career as an executive, but even outside the spotlight, he immersed himself in the studio, dedicating himself to compositions and international collaborations, always seeking new ways to expand his sound. Now, imbued with new inspirations and an unwavering passion for music, and performing as BRVNOV, he reinvents his own narrative, exploring new horizons and firmly establishing himself as a solo artist."

Born in 1992, he studied audio engineering at Malaysia’s International College of Music (ICOM) before returning to Iran in 2012. After working with Deep House Tehran, he launched his label, CoolKidz Records, in 2020. Farbodarwish is known for his passion for electronic music and diverse musical influences.

A few months ago, we launched a remix contest for Franz Matthews’ track ‘Zero Gravity’ on Label Radar, and the response was nothing short of phenomenal. With over 30 submissions pouring in from around the world, several remixes were really standing out, making it hard to pick a winner. While we crowned Rezonite as the official winner -featured on our last release- , we couldn’t ignore and not support the outstanding talent and hard work of four runner-ups. That’s why we’re thrilled to welcome the brilliant reinterpretations of Elemental, Nikmind, Peter P, and You Liang to HIFI/LOFI!

Originally from Mexico City and now based in Playa del Carmen, Emiliano Perez (aka Peter P) is a staple at the iconic Electrica and Danza Futurista parties. With just 3 years of production experience, he kicks off the remix package with an electrifying Indie Dance belter, packed with playful synth escapades.

Hailing from Tokyo, You Liang, transforms ‘Zero Gravity’ into an irresistibly groovy Tech-House weapon. With a background in acapella as a tenor, they developed a sharp ear for harmony and structure, seamlessly transitioning into DJing and electronic music production. Their unique style blends genres fluidly, earning them sets in major clubs across Japan and Korea.

A veteran of the Washington DC Electronic scene, Elemental has been spinning house, progressive, and breaks since the late '90s. After a hiatus, he reignited his passion during the pandemic, transitioning into production, and here channeling his diverse influences into a remix that takes ‘Zero Gravity’ on a hypnotic journey through Progressive Trance, Acid House and Indie Dance.

Closing the EP with a deep, rolling, and hypnotic take, Nikmind brings his signature darker and progressive sound to the release. Born in Colombia and now based in the U.S., he already boasts an impressive catalog on labels like ICONYC Noir, Frequent, and Side Up Works. He also holds the title of Best DJ of the Year (2018) at STORYLAND Music Festival, and rounds up this EP gracefully with his thrilling reinterpretation.

NYC-based imprint 99FVR returns with its third release - 'Cielo EP'. Crafted by Mexican duo KickZologo & WRDO, this spicy collaboration showcases the pair’s decade-long friendship and shared journey through Mexico’s vibrant electronic music scene.

Cielo, which translates to ‘Heaven’ is a hypnotic trip driven by punchy basslines, swirling layers, and dynamic hi-hats. Dedicated to getting dancefloors moving, 'Activated' brings a sassy, yet spacey, stomper to the pack. 'iNsOmNiA' takes a brighter approach, with atmospheric pads and groovy percussion, creating a euphoric energy with soft vocals whispering in one’s ear.

On the remix duties, Philadelphia duo Zillas on Acid take on Cielo, injecting snappy percussion, dubby vocals, and an unexpected time-straddling vibe. The addition of dusty synth textures and otherworldly energy gives the track a fresh, reimagined edge. Closing out the EP is Capes’ mesmerizing retake on Activated. Los Angeles-based Ray Barragan, one half of Club Tularosa, transforms Activated into a twisted and cinematic weapon for the darkest of dancefloors.
