In his constant sonic exploration, Gil.Barte delivers meditative, transcendental, and esoteric music, with intriguing, fantastical, and dreamlike sonic images.
His compositions navigate through slow ritual rhythms, drum'n'bass-ish incantations, and other mystical hybrid forms.

A music haunted by glitches and drones, where one loses oneself in a dark ambient, evoking a forest of faces on the walls, muffled corridors, and the whispers of the basement.

After releases on labels such as Big Science, Neubau, and Homemade Sound System, Gil.Barte joins Teenage Menopause crew with his new album "Claviceps Purpurea."

Producer, vocalist and DJ from Sisak [HRV] whose broad work released on labels such New York based  @l-i-e-s and @kraftjerkz, @helena-hauff `s  @returntodisorder, Madrid based @frigio-records, Germans @shelostkontrolrecords and Gooiland Elektro, Bunker, @charloisrotterdam from the NL region. Besides collaboration with @zarkoff on @fffc (Florence Foster Fan Club) project, he`s ½ of the Black Dot duo with @allegedwitches landing releases on @italo_moderni and @murder_tbs.

His vision of clubbing was formed in the Zagreb underground parties already in the early 90s. In the music scene since the beginning of the millenium, both as DJ and music producer. As a part of Zagrebs bRave collective he's leaving his mark in the local clubbing scene. Anything wave, EBM, rarities and obscurities, he's got his name on it.
