Metastone prod est un jeune label nantais qui a pour objectif l'édition, la production et la diffusion de musique.

Les quatre acteurs principaux de ce label - Stone, Lilee, Stan Lisanga et Claudia Sainte Rose - ont créé le projet de l'album "Culture Weed HIM" qui mélange des artistes de pays très divers - Jah Mason, Anthony John, Lutan Fyah, Prince Malachi, Lukie D, Sir Samuel, Tiwony, Alpheus, etc... - . "Nous avons fait ce choix pour que l'album ressemble à ce que nous vivons, ce que nous aimons et à ce que nous sommes... De nos jours, nous pouvons apprécier des artistes reggae d' horizons différents, de couleurs musicales variées, chacun apportant ses influences, son histoire, son vécu. Nous aimons l'idée du mélange qui fait évoluer la musique et permet à chacun de s'y retrouver. Nous sommes liés et nous nous devons d'agir ensemble.". Pour la constructions de la rythmique qui sert l'ensemble des morceaux, Metastone a fait appel au très bon groupe basé en région parisienne, le Homegrown Band. "Dans un premier temps, nous avons proposé le riddim à un backing band nantais, mais le travail ne s'est pas fait. entre temps, nous avons pris contact avec le Homegrown Band. L'amitié entre Stone et Dan - bassiste du groupe - a facilité la rencontre. Le Band a kiffé le riddim et nous avons enregistrer l'instrumentale au Triity Studio à Paris. Nous sommes ravi de cette collaboration qui nous a apporté beaucoups.". De plus, Metastone a tenu à donner une résonnance sociale à cet album : "Nous avonx tenu à insister sur le mot "Culture" qui a effectivement une place importante dans notre projet. Collectivement, nous devrions nous pencher davantage sur le sens de ce mot et l'associer au respect des civilations, à l'amour et à la dignité humaine. La culture, c'est ce que nous avons en commun, c'est un patrimoine, un héritage forgé d'expériences. L'histoire  nous prouve que nous avons fait fausse route... L'esclavage, les guerres, les famines, sont autant de catastrophes occasionnées par des gens sans culture et sans respect de la planète qui ne se souciaient que d'économie et de toute puissance. Avec un peu plus de culture et de connaissance de l'histoire, nous ne serions sans doute pas arrivé à de tels drames humains et écologiques. Il ne faut surtout pas oublier notre histoire pour ne pas reproduire les mêmes erreurs. Je reste confiant pour l'avenir. En ce qui concerne nos projets, nous avons pour objectif de faire vivre d'autres projets reggae et de les diffuser, mais aussi d'élargir notre champs d'action à d'autres tendances musicales. Produire de la bonne musique, faire découvrir des artistes, diffuser de good vibes... Pour ne rien vous cacher, nous quelques autres morceaux déjà prèts Nous avons pris le temps qu'il fallait pour bien réaliser ce disque, nous l'avons fait pour satisfaire le public et donner une chance à notre label de durer. Nous souhaitons élargir notre réseau et réinvestir sur de nouvelles réalisations, conscients que la tâche sera plus facile avec un catalogue bien distribué sur le marché."

JAMBALAY RECORDS is born in MAY 2010. It's purpose is to create a movement in the house scene wich is inspirated by African cultures, by focusing on that jazzy,soulful deep tribal sound that permeates house and techno from the roots. The name itself is a manifesto, as long as JAMBALAYA is a dish from the south of U.S.A. which is composed by all kinds of vegetables,meat,fish,beans and corn. It is a very popular dish that brings a strong taste , coming from the African slave's kitchen,mixing with some elements from French and Spanish one. Also this means a blending of different cultures , a way to look at the past stepping into the future, in a mystical dimension.

Milanesi Roberto was born on 06/15/1964 in Bologna Italy.Once graduated as a solicitor in the University of Bologna he decided to follow his passion and opened his first Tattoo Studio in Bologna in 1993. Since he was a child he showed off his passion for music and his punk attitude that bring him to cross the underground punk and new wave scene as a singer and drummer in various band such as UXIDI DC, DIES IRAE and OK, PANIC!. At the age of 33 he started out a long path in west african drums, following courses and workshops with great masters, such as Assane Adissa,Bruno Genero,Billy Nankouma Konate,Brahima Dembele,Enrico Fronza,Famodou Konate,Sourakata Dioubate,Seny Toure.Also he was founder of ensemble Benkadi ,that after became an association,promoting worshops and courses for many african dancers ,like Dian Camara and Ismail Bangoura,playing live percussions during the courses and in many theatre( second place in UMBRIA DANCE FESTIVAL as best group and coreography) and street performances like Ferrara Buskers Festival,IMOLA IN FESTA and so on. In 2006 he started out a course of african percussion and a collaboration with a crossover folk music big band called ‘’Jambalaya feat Bangs in the Fog’’where he arranged the drums parts . Around year 2000 he bought his first Apple computer and begin to play the same electronic music he was used to do with machines like Roland MC 303, made easyer to do by Pro Tools and Reason. He started producing home music of different styles and bpm :IDM,TRIBAL TEKNO,GOA TRANCE,PROGRESSIVE DREAM ,DEEP TECHOUSE,SOULFUL HOUSE,ELECTROMINIMAL,HIP HOP,DOWNTEMPO/CHILL OUT that he used to play as a dj with 100% self produced sets, mixing out in a particular way and linking music with visuals that he also produces.

Samir Mashlum (aka Psytoshi, Rimas) is an Atlanta-based electronic musician. Creating music for over a decade, he has developed a unique and distinct sound. His music hybridizes various genres, fusing the enveloping sonority of psychedelic sound with elements breakcore, IDM, and ethereal dubstep.
