Moro & the Silent Revolution have formed near the east coast of central Italy, in 2010, to give shape to Massimiliano Morini's songs. Their indie-folk pop has been heard on BBC6, Rai Radio 1, 2 and 3, Radio24 and Laeffe, and has been used as soundtrack to the TV program Orto e mezzo, on Italian nationwide television. Their instrumentals have been included in the sountracks to Voi siete qui (Radio24) and Una vita (Rai Radio 2). The video for one of their songs, “Love & Understanding” (2012), was re-posted online by the New Musical Express. Moro & the Silent Revolution have played live on Rai Radio 2 (Canicola), Radio Città del Capo (Maps), and in Italian festivals such as Area 51 Summer Festival (Bologna), Meeting People is Easy (Reggio Emilia), Arena delle Balle di Paglia (Cotignola) and Strade Blu (Emilia Romagna). They have also played in historical Italian venues like Calamita, Covo, Sidro, and Hana-bi. Their third album, Home Pastorals (Gamma Pop/Warner, 2014), was reviewed on several Italian national newspapers and on all leading Italian music sites, as well as Fresh on the Net (BBC) and music blogs in the UK, France, Ireland, the States, and India. Widely-respected Italian critic Eddy Cilìa chose it as one of his three “Italian” albums of 2014, while both Cilìa and Carlo Bordone praised the group – unbeknownst to each other –  in a double interview given for a national musical writing award.
