Asymmetric chief Inigo Kennedy returns to his label with a top quality five track EP 'Seasonal Debris Two', the second of a two-part series to close 2023.

Mysterious and driving atmospheres set against an ever-present grounding kick set the scene for the release in opening track 'Bridges In Fog'. To follow, is 'Twisting And Turning' which does exactly that, delivering an endearing slice of pure techno that slowly circles around the listener. 'Trickle Down' brings some of that Asymmetric magic, broken beats and layers of off-kilter textures that are constantly evolving and engaging. Moving down a gear, 'Radiation Mist' sets a vivid scene with its curious air of yearning before closing track, 'The Chrysalis Turns', brings the twin releases to an end with the warmest of winter hugs.

The mythic Mike Parker is welcomed to Balans, making his debut on the label with a four-track EP exemplifying his abstract style of eccentric analog resonance.

‘Transgression and Punishment’, characteristic of Parker’s classic fluctuating rhythms he explores soundscapes in experimentalism.
‘Smoke from Burning Fields’ conversely opens with a solid striking bassline making this track highly suitable for a damp and dark dancefloor amongst its hypnotic drive.

On the flipside, ‘The Freezing Process’ dives deep into the unknown where frequencies, submerged underwater, travel through the unfamiliar depths of the deep dark sea. To close out the EP, ‘The Midnight Zone’ is launched into ceaseless high-pitched oscillations, with a marching beat propelling the mind into an unconscious mesmerizing state. 

The perpetually seductive Mike Parker delivers a remarkable performance with this solid four-track addition to the Dutch label Balans Records, continuously known for delivering modern classics.
