CORNERBRED - LATE NIGHT AFFAIRS

Liran Ackerman, better known by his Electronic beats project - “AckerMan”, started making music somewhere in 2006, as part of the duo “MUTe”, and later released another duo project - “Deadly Weapons”, together with also Israeli and Play Pal artist Eliezer, both collaborations still active today.

Since then he's focused also on his own individual project, influenced by electronic vibes from the classic 70's, up to the early 90s, and has released music on labels such as New Day Everyday, Duro, Belly Dance Services or very soon also with us on Play Pal Music.

Since 2012, the Flipside team has been organizing cultural events that aim to bring various styles of electronic music to a wider audience.
This is how we created our various periodic events, characterized by an open and inclusive attitude, while also infused with a familial atmosphere that is increasingly rare in today's crowded parties.
We consider it important to provide a cultured and high-quality entertainment experience, and with our diverse line-ups, we aim to unite the underground subcultures within electronic music.
We strive to offer something new at each of our events, placing particular emphasis on visual installations. In the future, we aim to enhance Flipside’s offerings with exciting venues and even more diverse music selections.

For Viscera 124, A-Tweed steers the ship for our latest cosmic voyage.

A-Tweed is the moniker of Antonio De Oto, Italian dj/producer based in Rome. Well known for his cocktail of crawling, lysergic beats and low slung acid mutations, the Italian producer follows outings for labels like TRESOR, Multi Culti and Hard Fist, with the wonky, tripped-out rhythms of ‘Riot Disco Punk’, with his latest release landing on Human Endeavour:

He is resident with his "Coal & Ash Circuit" show on Radio Alhara (Bethlehem, Palestine) and with "live in-store" show in brand new Rough Radio from Rome. A-Tweed also has two sides projects like the tribal techno duo OBLAKO MARANTA with the Russian producer Andrey Redkov from Radial Gaze and A-TWEED X OLTREFUTURO with italian producer and sound engineer Valerio Ebert, focusing on weird slow beats and acid wonky techno.
 
A-Tweed has played in important clubs/parties around Europe such as Globus/Tresor (Berlin), Le Sucre (Lyon), Buka (Milan), NUR (Prague), Minimal Mondays (Vilnius), Tropical Animals (Florence), Freedonia (Barcelona), DABADABA (San Sebastián) The Sanctuary (Rome) and many more.

Human Endeavour is part of Ransom Note Records’ family of sub-labels. Curated and run by Rosie Ama Cain, one half of DJ duo Kiara Scuro, the label is a “space for artists who are exploring the dark, deep and hypnotic corners of the musical spectrum.” Since its inception in June 2022, the label has put a focus on championing emerging artists from across the globe, releasing a sampler, a charity compilation and several solo artist EPs from the likes of REES, Reda Saiarh, Nandele, Anastasia Zems, Justine Forever and more.
