Moth's Tales is an Italian alternative rock band comprising vocalist and guitarist Michele Rossi, bassist Roberto Battilana and drummer Miguel Gazziero.

Established in Udine (2002), the style of Moth’s Tales has been frequently refered to Post-punk and New Wave artists like The Cure, Joy Division, The Sound, Sad Lovers and Giants, The Chameleons UK.

The first release "Decadent Truth" (2003), including "Sadness", was showcased with a multimedia concert conceived together with Giuseppe Zigaina. After a soundtrack for a short film about environmental protection (2004) and the album "Obstinè" (2006), three songs were released on a compilation including works by Fields of the Nephilim projects, supporting them on tour as well. The next album "Unknown Portrait" (2008) gathered enthusiastic reviews in the alternative press, followed by the anthological session "Three" (2009), freely downloadable on Last.fm.

The new album "Burying Ophelia" features Tony Longheu as added guitarist and leads Moth’s Tales toward a more structured sound joining their post-punk core with more psychedelic atmospheries. The album  has been ranked among the best albums of the year by Mick Mercer.
