The Flying Mars newest album comes from a mix of emotions: places, feelings, people and sounds. All were experienced while traveling the world and gave wide inspiration for this masterpiece. Many stories are to be found inside this deeply personal body of work, where every track was composed in a different place on this Earth. Fueled by nature and equipped with a field recorder, He set out on his journey; recording every sound, Paying close attention to his surroundings while capturing the essence of the here and now.

You are invited to relive this journey and state of mind. Listen closely and you will be able to feel the exact sensations, smell the same smells, and hear the same sounds that were heard during the creative process – which is deeply rooted in the heart and soul of this unique artist.

This is the second Album of Mario Engel, from Switzerland. With his main project - “The Flying Mars”, he is always in search of new sounds, oblique sonorities, and exhilarating vibes. With constantly nurtured creativity and a refined artistic approach to sculpting sounds and arranging tracks, he invites you on a sonic journey with long and intricately layered compositions, letting you flow through a powerful mix of ethnic, electric, organic and psychedelic sounds.
The Flying Mars gives us an album beyond tempos, beyond genre, and beyond borders. It's an intense journey, so, take your time, let yourself be guided by the vibrations of the music, and the moods, that lie within.

With a career stretching over 15 years since the first release, Philip Guillaume is no newcomer in the trance scene. Up to date he released 6 studio albums and countless tracks under different monikers (Motion Drive, Rumble Pack, Blue Vortex, Mindbenderz) on different labels like IONO Music, Iboga, Spintwist, Blue Tunes, Vision Quest, YSE / Millennium Rec., Moon Spirits etc. During this time remixes and collaborations have been done with great artists like Ace Ventura, Andromeda, Zen Mechanics, Rocky, Phaxe, Flow Job etc.
After years of touring and playing on some of the biggest international festivals (Voov, Ozora, Antaris, Fusion, Indian Spirit etc.), these days, Philip is concentrating more on the studio work either on his solo project Motion Drive or the new collaboration with IONO Boss DJ Cubixx called "Mindbenderz".
