There are few artists quite like Shy, a Berlin-based, American-born producer publicly recognized under various monikers including Special Guest DJ, Caveman LSD, uon, and through his myriad collaborations. a. Yooo! My name is John Jones. I’m a musician / artist currently based in Los Angeles.  I spent my younger years outside of Washington DC and my culturally formative ones getting weird in Baltimore Maryland.

a. I’ve been playing the guitar a lot more these days… I think that may be effecting my listening habits.

q. are you working on any projects right now (music or not music)?
a. Yea! I’m finishing up a new AV Moves record.. Jesse and I have been slowly piecing together the next JJ+JS album.. Puli, the band I’m in with my friends Phil and Damon, have a record coming out soon. We’re also looking to record new material sometime in the next month or so. I’ve been playing in Suzanne Kraft’s live band too.. we have some fun opening gigs that we’ve been prepping for. Workwise, I'm at In Sheep’s Clothing HiFi managing events and helping out at the record store. busy busy busy
