Robert Ostan is a DJ & Producer from Iasi (Romania). He started to listen tech house in 2016,at that moment he felt that the music is sending a good vibe, like a energy. 

He was at some tech house parties, and after a while he founds out minimal genre, which changed the perception of his music. In 2018 he began to learn the techniques of the mix. The DJ's who have influenced Robert are: Priku, Lizz & Cosmjn, Cristi Cons & Vlad Caia aka SIT, Raresh and many others.

He started listening to this style in 2017, a year later, learning the art of mixing, after which he started producing music from 2020 until now. He like to combine different styles in his tracks & mixes, but especially focus on the darker style.

I went out for drinks with this girl from Tinder a while back. She was cool… until she wouldn't stop talking about Fred Again being “the best DJ to ever walk the earth” (no shade Fred). I eventually say “I actually make music too, we could go to mine and I’ll show u a little.”

We get to my place and I ask her fav (non Fred Again) song. She says “that new Jack Harlow one.” I rip the acapella and drop it in Ableton.

10 minutes in she puts her hand on my leg and goes "wanna watch a movie?” I said “nah papi’s cookin rn.”

She left. I stayed up all night cookin. When I sent it to her the next morning she replied “u literally picked making untz untz music instead of me

Next in line for our vinyl only series with the forthcoming ep *Good times during bad times, the young musician is already pretty known to the industry as part of duo Dubsons in the past and now back as a solo releasing gems on East End Dubs’ Easternderz, dropping bombs on Priku’s Atipic, and now setting our hood on fire.

His official debut with the label was taking part on the “Save the Amazon” a streaming marathon we organised a few months ago with the Meoko family. . At the time he decided to showcase a mix of purely his own productions including the ones forthcoming on the label. We are confident to say this is truly a piece of Art and can’t wait for his new ep to make our legacy go next level.
