It’s Monday, and time for our twenty-ninth Moonlight Mixtape, courtesy of our Resident @discognition. He’s on a hot streak of shows lately: he played direct support for @wassumusic last week, and coming up, he’ll be opening for @camelphatmusic and @jorisvoorn on March 2. But Discognition is all about producing powerful deep and progressive tunes that range from the organic vibes to the heavy hitting club shakers, including last week’s haunting heater “Lost to Time” on @clubhausrecords and the beautiful “All of Me,” which capped 2023 for @enormouschills.

IAMSVRP (Shihran Pathy) is a Progressive House & Techno DJ Hailing from the rainy city of Seattle, and is currently living in El Paso, USA. 

His love for electronic music stemmed from over 10 years ago, when he accidentally stumbled upon Eric Prydz’s dance music classic, Pjanoo, while on a trip with family. This infatuation for dance music has flourished since then. His main influences include Eric Prydz, Cristoph, Charles D, Joris Voorn, Layer J, among many others. 

His work on the popular electronic music forum 1001tracklists goes unnoticed and he has been ranked amongst the top 50 users of the site over the last two years. 

In addition, iamsvrp has played a multitude of shows in the El Paso and Seattle areas, and has had his own work supported by Cristoph, Ev Rymd, VORA, Bud Cahill among many others.
