BIOGRAFIA:

Robert Ramírez, cantante, compositor, productor y DJ Español nacido en Hyeres (Francia).
Cuando tenía 4 años, sus padres españoles volvieron a España, concretamente a la ciudad de Elche (Alicante), donde donde vivió hasta los 22 años, cuando su pasión por la música le empujó a trasladarse a Madrid.


Los primeros años en la capital grabó infinidad de maquetas con productores de la talla de Luis Gomez Escolar, Luis Carlos Esteban y Carlos Quintero entre otros, que apostaban por el potencial de Robert.


Al mismo tiempo, se iba curtiendo en el directo en los escenarios del circuito alternativo de rock, haciendo versiones acústicas de sus grupos favoritos de pop británico y pop/rock americano.
Durante años luchó por el sueño de grabar un disco. Viajó con sus maquetas hasta ciudades como Nueva York o México.

Cansado de esperar ese contrato discográfico que no llegaba y con la aparición de las nuevas tecnologías, el cantante se reinventó como compositor y productor. Rápidamente empezaría a trabajar para series de televisión y cine, así como a componer temas de éxito para artistas como UPAdance, Fran Perea, Michelle Jenner, consiguiendo sus primeros números uno de ventas en España como compositor.
En 2006 compone y produce su primer disco, un proyecto de fusión llamado "African Spirit". A pesar de ser su estreno como productor consigue ser finalista de los Premios de la Música ese mismo año.

Durante años fue la "voz anónima" en más de un centenar de canciones producidas para series como Periodistas, Los Serrano, Un Paso Adelante o Los Hombres de Paco, hasta que en primavera del 2010 compone y produce "Sick of Love" para un programa de televisión. Cuando la canción salió al mercado se colocó en el numero uno de ventas en tan solo 24 horas, permaneciendo ahí durante tres meses consecutivos, siendo la segunda canción mas descargada del país en el año 2010. A partir de ese momento el boca a boca obró el "milagro", haciendo que "Sick of Love" sonara en las pistas de baile de medio mundo lo cual trajo infinidad de actuaciones por España, Rusia, Brasil, Rumania…
En ese año Robert Ramirez fue nominado por partida doble en Los Premios 40 Principales en las categorías de Artistas Revelación y Mejor Canción del Año.

En el 2012, después de los singles "I'm a Number" y "It´s a Miracle" de corte Dance, Robert Ramirez sorprende con un tema intimista componiendo "You Are Not Alone", canción donde el artista dona todos los beneficios a favor de la lucha contra el cáncer de mama. Esta canción seria un nuevo numero uno, subiendo a lo mas alto de las listas de itunes tan solo una hora después de salir a la venta y permaneciendo en esa posición durante todo un mes.

Actualmente sigue trabajando en la música de baile con su show “Sickoftronic”, donde explota su faceta como DJ y cantante y que le ha llevado de gira por toda España con un grandísimo éxito de público.




 


JP Candela is a Madrid-born DJ now based in Ibiza who has become one of the key DJs in the international electronic music scene and has played a crucial role in the island’s musical history, holding weekly residencies for the last 15 years at iconic clubs like HI Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza and Space Ibiza.
During the summer of 2024, he’s been spinning at clubs like Cova Santa and Playa Soléil, as well as being part of one of the biggest Afro House parties, SUMMERIANS, which has become a must-go event on the island.
His musical style is rooted in the Techno vibes of the late '80s, the House sound of the '90s and the Progressive House of the 2000s. Influenced by legends like Frankie Knuckles, Kerri Chandler, Jerome Sydenham, and Dennis Ferrer, his sound now covers a diverse range that includes Afro House, House, Indie Dance, Melodic House and Melodic Techno.
His sets are known for being eclectic, dynamic, and full of groove, captivating audiences all over the world.
Throughout his career, JP Candela has remixed a wide variety of artists, from icons like New Order to Pop and Hip-Hop Stars like David Guetta, SIA, Kid Cudi and Snoop Dog. He’s also taken on remixes of classic electronic tracks like "HEY HEY" by Dennis Ferrer, "Plastic Dramas" by Jaydee, "Strings Of Life" by Soul Central, and "You’re Not Alone" by Olive.
Recently, he launched his own label and event, ĀMA Music, with a residency at Lula Club in Madrid, where he’s shared the stage with artists like Argy, Tripolism, Alex Wann, Adam Ten, Notre Dame, Satori, Dorian Craft, ANDHIM, Audiofly, Rampue, Monkey Safari, Super Flu...

 Some of his latest original collaborations include "Amazonia" with Sparrow and Barbossa.
Among his latest original productions, 'ATACAMA' stands out, hitting the TOP 10 in sales, and 'THAR,' which reached the TOP 3. Both were released under ĀMA Music and received support from notable artists in the scene like Kasango, Baron, Audiofly, Marasi, Nico Morano, Betoko, Sparrow & Barbossa. One of his upcoming releases is 'Right Here,' a collaboration with Doriann, an artist from Solomun's Dynamic label, set to drop in December 2024.
JP Candela has taken his music to iconic cities like Berlin, Paris, Milan, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Bangkok, Beijing, Singapore, Bora Bora, Moscow, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Tulum, Split, Marrakech, and Tokyo, among others, as well as to the top clubs in Spain, including MOMENTO and Playa Padre in Marbella, Pacha and CDLC in Barcelona, and Lula Club and Fabrik in Madrid
He’s been part of world-renowned festivals like Ultra Music Miami, Ultra Music Europe, Creamfields, A Summer Story, Medusa and MTV Haupstadt solidifying his status as a must- have talent on the global scene.
Among his recent projects is the BENDITO event series, where he’s collaborated with artists like Innellea and Colyn and RITMIA, working with GORDO, Arodes, Andrea Oliva, Mathame, Nic Fanciulli, Cloonee...
As he looks forward to the 2025 season, JP Candela is gearing up for a new collaboration at SUMMERIANS by KINTAR, a key event in the Ibiza Afro Melodic House scene that will take place at some of the most prestigious locations worldwide, like Dubai, Bali, Tulum.
