After his Sungate debut in 2020, Cape-Town-based Deano presents Curveball 2.0. Knowledge Imprint's founder's new contribution follows perfectly from his previous release as he displays the diversity of music styles that influence him. With a combination of warm, dubbed out, and energetic techno, this package contains three originals and two outstanding remixes - one from Detroit icon Luke Hess and the other from Dutch duo D&S.

Luke Hess' take on Curveball 4 brings recognizable dub techno style by Detroit's legendary producer. Punchy kick drum layered with cosmic pads, and the acid bassline is pierced through with dubby stabs which create an ultimate after-hour dance floor destroyer.
'Curveball 2.0' EP is coming out May 7th via Sungate records.

"Right Now was made in April of 2022. I sat in my studio watching the news white listening to protestors outside", Waajeed says. "This wasn't the first time, often the sound of local organizers clashed with the police outside my door. I asked myself, what's the best way for me to make a change for the better? When do I start ? The first was, Step by step.
The second answer was, The Moment is now, RIGHT NOW!

I produced this song in the spirit of those who took to the street in protest. Change is gradual. Rock will submit to water in time. Every element of this song follows this decree. Rhythm on rhythm."
