Spanish artist Izan Cramer, known for his collaborations with Paula Cazenave and Dark Vektor, announces the release of his highly anticipated album "00:00", arriving November 7. This deeply personal project, blending poetry and techno, marks a turning point in his artistic career.
"00:00" distills a raw, minimalist aesthetic with clinical precision across eight tracks, poised to become a timeless record. It invites listeners on an “interplanetary inward journey,” exploring the strange serenity found in resignation, coldness, and emotional anesthesia — suggesting that “in a world designed to crush you, you simply watch, waiting with hope for the moment when the world finds its center again.”
The title was inspired by a personal experience: the forced closure of Izan’s club, which led him to discover a stoic beauty in the midst of adversity. For him, “00:00 is everything because it is nothing. It is a new beginning, a new chance — where everything that takes life away from us is what ultimately gives it back.”
Choosing to self-release the album underscores its intimate nature, allowing Izan Cramer to preserve the care, affection, and original vision behind the project without external label constraints. Every element has been carefully designed to immerse the audience in the album’s world. The dominant visual language is white, paired with cool blues and greys, and structured glitch textures — evoking a sense of calm, free of resistance or drama.
Izan Cramer has built a solid trajectory, gaining support from acclaimed DJs such as Nastia, Anne, and JakoJako, with his music resonating on iconic international dance floors including Berghain and Awakenings. His previous album led him to perform an all-night-long set for the anniversary of Florida 135 and to headline nights in Amsterdam, Valencia, and Luxembourg.
With the album set for release on November 7, Izan Cramer will present "00:00" in various cities, showcasing his unique vision of how to steer a dance floor.
