Sÿmo III is a project in progress.
It’s not mastered yet, but I wanted to share it as it is: raw, direct, unfiltered.
A fragment of the sonic path I’m building, part of a series that grows step by step.

Long-time friends and kindred spirits, Audrey Danza and Andrea Dama finally lock into each other’s wavelength with Signals in Movement, their first collaborative release on Proxima. The EP moves fluidly across moods and energies: the opener is a restless acid track, unfurling in evolving 303 spirals that feel like they’re crawling out of the floorboards of the afters. The second track, Ghosts in Sync (Tech Mix), sharpens the edges into a deep techno workout with funky elements. Closing with Dolce Circuito (Sunday Mix), the pair channel blissed-out euphoria—a shimmering nod to the hedonistic warmth of Cocktail d’Amore’s marathon Sundays. The result is less a split of their individual voices and more a new hybrid language—playful, intuitive, and designed to move bodies across the spectrum of night into day.

Since 2014, Codex Empire has built an international reputation for dark and intense techno productions and live shows.
Mahk Rumbae - the British born, Vienna based producer behind Codex Empire - has been creating challenging experimental electronic music for over 25 years working as one half of industrial/experimental band Konstruktivists as well as a number of varied solo and side-projects.
After releasing several well received EPs on aufnahme + wiedergabe, Sacred Court and Khemia Records, as well as numerous remixes and appearances on V/A compilations, Codex Empire will release his full-length debut album in February 2019 on aufnahme + wiedergabe.

Fifteenth digital release by Secret Keywords belongs to Backlogs. The Italian producer based in Taranto, also resident DJ at Sound Department, comes back to Gianmarco Silvetti's imprint after two years, with his first release "LNWSD" (remixed by the mighty Conrad Van Orton) he had already demonstrated to got a hard and raw sound, inspired by the Neapolitan 90's underground. "Retrospective", this is the name of the single, is made up of four original tracks, four different moods, able to bring us back to the same context, where music was the symbol of revolt. Following the labels theme of reaching beyond the conventional record label by combining music experimentation, short narratives, true stories, and illustrations – Jujuka 002 pushes into new territory with the Split EP “Raw Reflex” featuring founder Julia Govor on the A side followed by the first recordings of EMIT.  Julia reaches into her imagination to find Soviet Union enthusiasm met with an American punk drive to add to her signature vibrant arrangement.  Behind the EMIT alias is the intricate and vivid musician / producer – Kamran Sadeghi.  EMIT read backwards is ‘time’ – the continuum of experience in which events pass from the future through the present to the past.  The project is guided by the literal and musical use of time.  A culmination of styles unravel within each track, encouraging listeners to discover their own path through the rhythmic and tonal patterns.  The music belongs to every-body and no-body.

‘Broken Pencil’ is a combination of sharp and high frequency sounds that break the rhythm, twisting it with Julia’s demonic vocals singing iconic 90’s era Russian lyrics from the cartoon “Antoshka”  – Julia calls it “Bedford–Stuyvesant Techno”.  ‘Naked Soul’ was produced during a long and lonely tour around Asia while listening to “Train” from the Solaris soundtrack by Edward Artemiev on repeat.  In 2012 Julia conducted a video interview with Ricardo Villalobos, where he confessed that he fears dreaming and therefore “prefers not to sleep”. For Villa Tone Julia sampled that part of the interview and used Ricardo’s voice to build loops and textures.  The rhythm became something between Reggaeton mixed with UK bass.

Much like all music by Emit – ‘Hyphen’ was recorded live in the studio.  The original version is over 30 minutes long and has the lead cyclical synth pattern very slowly and subliminally approaching the mix from a far distance – a soundtrack for the time traveler.  ‘Free Stuff Forever’ is like a linear conversation that is making sense, then at some point it becomes abstract. Rather than altering it’s natural course you perch on the highest branch in the tree and gaze into the horizon – free your stuff forever!  ‘Greyscale’ was inspired by the theory that right angles do not exist in nature and are a human invention instigated by their upright posture, making them perpendicular to the ground plane – creating the spiritual intersection of the heavenly and earthbound.
