As is customary with the label, Marco and Norberto spent one day at Tempio del Futuro Perduto Studios (24/H Records HQ) working with personal and resident machines to craft out Night Illusion EP:  a 2 track journey into purest form of their sound. Featuring Jonathan Lykes of Black Joy Experience, this EP takes his liberation chants and sets them to electronic rhythms to fire up the soul. In return for his gracious permission we have agreed to donate 50% of all profits to his project. Black Joy Experience seeks to build a holistic energy praxis in movement and organizing spaces as a mechanism to cultivate joy, love, healing, resiliency and a commitment to envision the next 50-100 years of Black and Brown cultural, political and economic futures. Taro Records and küetzal are proud to amplify this message and hopefully provide a little support through sales of the EP. The music itself is tough, grooving techno for the most part, percussive for the floor, but also broken in places and infused with rebellious energy. Label bosses Taro Division and Aaron Udy both hit the remix separately this time, on request from the artist.

Chemtrailz - Winter On Europa [TN001 | Premiere]

Society anxiety is an industrial based electronic music EP that branches somewhere between EBM and techno. It comes with some vocals and some samples to create strong related topics. A lot of mixed emotions were put into the EP capturing things that create anxiety, anger, and fear.
It starts off with an intro self titled track that warms up with a baseline relating to society’s cause of anxiety. It also has a EBM techno track that was added with sample from a George Carlin stand up sketch, who has always been a political hero, even as a comedian he has great truth and critics of the elite. This is called you have no choice, which can also be related to growing up in Scotland where we have no choice of what goes on in UK politics. After this, is a faster techno track that relates to the gangsters in our parliament. The EP ends with a slower post punk track that relates to trying to not give a fuck what people think.

It is out the beginning of February with some premieres before then. I hope anyone who listens or buys this EP will enjoy it and likes the life topics that I think most of us can relate too!
