Bahboo is the downtempo tribal music project of Brazilian artist Rodrigo Ferreira. A lover of the global folktronica scene and the ancestral cultures from around the world, Rodrigo is passionate about the musical cultural heritage and traditions of the indigenous peoples of Latin America, their chants and rituals, blending them with the Brazilian musicality originating from African beliefs and cultures.
His sound brings a sonic essence that balances the digital and the organic, merging sounds, chants, prayers, and art from around the world. Bahboo's compositions offer a unique auditory experience that transcends cultural boundaries, making the project not just a musical journey but also a tribute to the cultural and spiritual heritages that shape our global identity.
