Ludwig Wittgenstein saw himself as ‘the last philosopher’. In his view, philosophy in the traditional sense was finished. A superb logician, Wittgenstein distrusted language and sought to solve the problems of philosophy by reducing them to the purest form of logic. Everything else – metaphysics, aesthetics, ethics, finally even philosophy itself – was excluded. He famously stated, ‘of that which we cannot speak we must remain silent', thus eliminating all concepts which do not arise from experience or are amenable to logical thought

Luke Slater’s most well known pseudonym Planetary Assault Systems is back in the fullest swing with 'No Exit', a standalone EP following his famed 'Deep Heet' installment series. 'No Exit' unmistakably bears all the hallmarks of Planetary Assault System, from mind-tripping and floor-stirring hypnotic energy to the theme of pushing the outer limits of unknown territories.
The EP kicks off with the title track, at its first breath of rolling beat already infusing an ample dose of psychedelic madness, which only to be intensified with the layers of digital chime tones that are constantly multiplying and shape-shifting. “Undertow” on the B side continues with the signature warping and reverberating bells and bleeps but this time with enticing hi-hats and distorted bass, gradually all melting into one big sinister groove. The last track of the EP “Nanendi” might fool you in the beginning with its minimalistic beat, but as soon as the demure yet ominous veil of melody - beautifully moody and almost spooky at times - starts humming and howling, it’s well on its way to make a deep, haunting emotional connection while keeps the tension boiling. Without a doubt 'No Exit' EP is the one that shows the most distinctive core DNA of Planetary Assault Systems and much like his seminal album The Messenger, it’s a deadly unique, dazzling, and powerfully effective work that will stand the test of time.

Originally available as limited vinyl only, 'Glam' features fifteen densely atmospheric tracks initially composed as a film score for a movie of the same name starring Tony Danza & Ali McGraw. Although the film went straight to video, 'Glam' works as an album of its own, presenting the band's most intricate & subtle compositions. The CD comes with three bonus tracks, 'Snap Bar', 'Pool, Smooth & Bidder' & 'Hetzchase Nailway', not found on the LP. The music alternates from quiet passages of peaceful melody to darker soundscapes & strange noises. There's just enough sonic disturbance to break the quieter moments, just when the listener un-expects it most

Iaora Tahiti album by Mouse On Mars was released Mar 10, 1998 on the Too Pure label. Iaora Tahiti, the follow-up to Mouse On Mars’s 1994 debut Vulvaland, finds the band’s multi-textured techno-pop refined to a high art. Iaora Tahiti music CDs The German-based duo takes its cue from its Krautrock forebears, using spacey, insistent beats and grooves as an anchor for its smooth analogue language and digital chittering. Iaora Tahiti songs The first two tracks, “Stereomission” and “Kompod,” are expansive, loping compositions founded on fluid, burbling basslines. “Achunkel” sounds like ghosts playing drums in a cybernetic junkyard Iaora Tahiti album. “Bib” plows a swirling ambient vortex with pulse-quickening techno rhythms. The morphing bubble-scape of “Papa, Antoine” suggests a breeding ground alive with emergent microorganisms. These are dense, abstract sound collages of the first order, cerebral, intriguing, and challenging, without sacrificing rhythmic accessibility or the occasional melodic fragment. It might be said that Iaora Tahiti is one of the finest releases of its kind, were it not so strikingly unique.
