We are on the lookout for the most exciting unsigned musical talent to be part of a ground-breaking new app.

Music and football are Manchester’s most famous cultural exports and CityBeats will combine them both in a unique and dynamic way.

The free CityBeats app will allow fans to create and share remixes of the best new music – essentially putting the user at the controls in the recording studio – as well as the opportunity to win fantastic prizes.

Submissions are now open for bands or artists who would like to win a place and have their music featured on CityBeats – and be exposed to thousands of potential new fans in the process. To enter the competition, share your best track via our Soundcloud Dropbox – mp3s are preferred.

All songs received will be listened to by music industry legend and official CityBeats judge Mike Pickering who will have the final say on who makes it on to the app.

If your music wins a place on CityBeats, we will need access to the individual tracks/stems of your song (drums, guitar, bass, vocals etc) so please ensure you can provide these when submitting.
