"This is the mix that I've recorded after the new year and it starts very easy and in totally ambient tone. I would play something like that in the summer at the open-air just after the sunset. The start is very usual for me - If I have more than a hour to play I like to reset the mood on the start and then build on that - not just continuing the mood from before, especially if I play outside. It was put together spontaneously with some of the current favorites that naturally go together and the picture was taken at Katja's exhibition that literally translates as 'Visual Distortion / Simulation of sound'. The artwork perfectly translates my mood in which the mix was recorded."

Originating from ancient Greek, Mousikē is the union of 3 things; words with our without meaning, physical moves that we call dance and the evolution of music.

Rising from the land of muses, Anatolia; Mousikē started as a Soundcloud page & private parties in Istanbul. Now it turned into a series of musical gatherings all around the world, which ended up as a vibrant community with a great variety of colours and tastes.

With launch of Mousikē Records, roots of our young tree are expanding to various channels like Spotify, Beatport & other music platforms to grow & give more goods to wider community; and eventually die and decompose to its core elements which will become life & inspiration to other livings in the universe.
