A wise man once told me not to worry about the records you don't sign, worry about the ones you do. So I'm not going to stress about the fact that Plastic Plates just had a hype machine no 1 record with a track we didn't sign. I'm just going to vibe how good the ones we did sign are, (and how talented this young man is).

Bob Marley said that one good thing about music is that when it hits you, you feel no pain. The a side on this ep by Plastic Plates epitomizes this. FEEL GOOD music at it's best. Put this on, take your lover, (or lovers), and go smile and dance in a field.

The b side, aptly named Sweat, is more for those late night warehouses, an appregiated journey back to the 90's where the pills had ecstasy in them and there was no such thing as 3am lockouts.

These were our internal working titles anyway. In the end, it's a big compilation with 21 artists that we don't want to pigeonhole, because it's a big zoo! Siraiva (@siraiva) ft. PipaMoran (@pipamoran) come together for their first release on Media Blackout with a vibed out sonic love story titled ‘Chance’. Together, that have crafted a song that instantly pays off on first listen, but delivers in new ways every time you hear it. Pipa Moran has a uniquely R&B flavor to her vocals that melt effortlessly into the nu-disco sensibility that Siraiva brings to his music.

Douze (@_douze) is Arnault Douze Esteve, a young French producer. First discovered by Kris Menace, he would later become the protégé of the German producer. Their collaboration led on to several tracks produced together on Kris's "Idiosyncrasies" first album followed by a handful of EPs. To this day, Kris and Douze continue to work together - with Douze appearing on Menace’s albums “Features” and forthcoming project “Sun, Moon & Stars” in collaboration with Simon Lord. Following this, Douze worked with another titan of the French house music scene, Alan Braxe, the results of which are still under lock and key in Braxe’s own production vault.
