For those who have been following us for some time, our next guest needs no introduction: d.m.s. has already made some excellent contributions to MoustacheMusic, and we are more than happy to add this one to our archives as well.

He is also known from the duo Taron-Trekka, has been guaranteeing a unique, deep minimalist yet groovy sound for many years now and is a familiar face at the East-German cult label Freude am Tanzen. This label is at the heart of a long-standing Ghent-Jena connection, which we are happy to continue today and would like to thank d.m.s. for this mutual gesture of friendship and respect!

Hydra is a natural satellite of Pluto, with a diameter of approximately 51 km (32 mi) across its longest dimension. It is the second-largest moon of Pluto, being slightly larger than Nix. Hydra was discovered along with Nix by astronomers using the Hubble Space Telescope on 15 May 2005, and was named after the Hydra, the nine-headed underworld serpent in Greek mythology. Kerberos is a small natural satellite of Pluto, about 19 km (12 mi) in its longest dimension. Kerberos is also the second-smallest moon of Pluto, after Styx. It was the fourth moon of Pluto to be discovered and its existence was announced on 20 July 2011. It was imaged, along with Pluto and its four other moons, by the New Horizons spacecraft in July 2015. The first image of Kerberos from the flyby was released to the public on 22 October 2015.*

MMR #171 - Bear Miles (Laid Knight Tail)

After being out of circulation for quite some time, MoustacheMusic is finally back on track. With great patience we reserved Stachecast 10 for a master in his own kind. Laurent Bisch aka Fingers in The Noise, father of 3, has a profound love for ambient, dub(techno), deep and experimental. 

This hardworking veteran started producing music over 20 years ago. He is a world renowned and respected example for many young producers. On his YouTube-channel he is more than likely to share his knowledge through tutorial means.
Throughout the years, Fingers in The Noise has built up an impressive discography, with releases on various labels. Ever since he traded party lifestyles to becoming a dedicated family man, he has devoted his spare time composing music.
Fingers in The Noise would like to dedicate this guestmix as a tribute to the recent events of Paris’ Charlie Hebdo. It is in that spirit this Stachecast will be named “We are all Charlie”.

He keeps on doing what he does best, bringing out the finest music for your ears. 

Benjha is one of those promising passionate artists to keep an eye on. His hard work has been rewarded by a well deserved release on Nicolas Jaar's imprint Other People.  We're sure that the best is yet to come.

Rave or Die & New Flesh Records' label boss and die hard vinyl knight, Umwelt, accepted our request to do a one hour live guest mix at the Urgent FM Studio.  He had a perfect warm-up  before he put Rave Alert's dancefloor on fire later that night!  We couldn't imagine a better way to start NewYears Eve than this.

Expect an uplifting hour of electro and some acid infused beats.

Space, matter and even time could one day cease to exist and there's nothing we can do about it. Harsh realities are revealed about the future of our Universe; it may collapse and burn or it might be gripped by a galactic ice age. Either of these scenarios might be a long way off. However, our Universe could suddenly be destroyed by a "random quantum fluctuation", a bubble of destruction that can obliterate the entire cosmos in the blink of an eye.

This session by Stone Field is an apocalyptic and gloomy journey full of threat and dark cosmic energy.

Yoric Spick is the personality behind Jaquarius, the ever cheerful French acid rave kid to look out for. He's incredibly passionate and he has a limitless obsession with analogue machines, old science fiction movies and quirky socks.   Last Saturday he was the international guest at the amazing Rave Alert concept in Gent.  This was the ideal chance to invite him for a one hour MoustacheMusic Radio session on Sunday.  

We always say to think out of the box whenever artists ask us what we would like to hear.  Well, this one hour recording is the result of his interpreation.  Expect a one hour IDM, braindance mix like a whirlwind with clear pinches of acid from the 303-box and carefully chosen samples from his favourite old sci-fi movies.

Boundlesness, infiniteness, inexhaustibility  and limitlessness are a few terms we could bring up in our attempt to define our internationally renowned artist's creative output.  

Sk'p has been on our wantlist for quite some time now as he's actually a local hero.  He has been warming people's hearts with his playful IDM and braindance infused signature sound. A healthy portion of natural devotion combined with a down to earth attitude makes him a very enjoyable man with a credibility solid as a rock.

First time ever we invite someone for the second time in one season. PiL got on our radar through the disquiet junto project. We kept an eye on him ever since and he even became our only Walloon friend.  Our musical interests are closer than any other guest ever.  A second contribution in one season seemed inevitable.  And what you'll hear next blew us away live in the Urgent FM studio.

PiL, this a ingenious painting of sound, nicely build up to a climax. There's so much happening in this mix that it definitely makes each listener traveling through their own minds.
