-Tell us a little about yourself? 

My name is Francisco Morgan, aka. Mujipuki, I'm 21 and I was born and raised in Porto, Portugal! 

-How would you describe the city and music scene there at the moment?

It's a small city (Porto) but with very much to explore. A lot of gorgeous places. I don't go out that much, so I don't feel like I'm the right person to make that judgment. However, I do feel we have a strong and rich music scene, covering practically every genre.

-What have you been listening to recently?

I've been re-listening to Jay-Z's "4:44", one of my favorite albums of all time. 

-Who is your earliest musical influence?

Daft Punk, I started to make music because of them. 

-Anything coming  up soon - project/ gigs/ releases ?

Still figuring out my next album... meanwhile I have a pretty nice mix on Movedizo, thanks to the coolest and dearest Amelia Holt :) <3

-Tell us a little about yourself? 

 Hey Amelia, thanks for the interview! We are Soul Of Hex & Anttares from Tijuana, México. 
 
-How would you describe the city and music scene there at the moment?

It's about to blow! But pretty chill right now, there are a couple of upcoming producers at the moment like 4004 & Never Dull.   

-Favorite club & why?

 We've been to a lot of clubs in the recent years and honestly we are looking for a certain authenticity that we identify with. We are not really into the most popular ones (we won't say names ✌(-‿-)✌ ) but definitely had studied them. Our favorite party is Sunday Sunday in Mexico City, which is almost an institution. It happens every Sunday of the month in the CDMX with the best crowd! Oh, la Milagrosa in New York is amazing! 
 
-What are you listening to lately? 

We recently went to Detroit for Movement ,so we learned how to JIT! Basically, it's a dance similar to Chicago footwork and we are diggin' a lot of the artists like Electric Soul, Aux 88, Urban Tribe, Optic Nerve, Cybotron, DJ Di'jital on the futuristic, electronic side. On the soulful spiritual sound, we dig a lot of Ron Trent, John Collins and Joe Claussell and Larry Levan 4e!
 
-Anything coming up soon. Any new releases /shows coming up ? 
 Yes! But we can't reveal details yet of our upcoming releases. We only can say, Detroit is involved for this one... And as far as shows, we have a couple local gigs in Tijuana and México City at the moment.

Movedizo 0.0002 - Soul Of Hex 🇲🇽

-Tell us a little about yourself?

I am @aristidez, based in Lima, Peru. I have a bachelors in Science of Communication, plus plan parties and art produce for Casalocasa. Whenever I’m not making music, I am working as a graphic designer, video editor and some animation. I have two cats and a large debt.

-How would you describe the city and music scene there at the moment?

Nowadays, the Lima scene is diversified and emergent. Due to the lack of proper clubs (the last one was Fuga in Barranco but it closed down in February), collectives and crews are building new spaces and bridging a community between the different parts of the city. Though it is more common to find  parties in the middle-south part of Lima (the "touristic" zone), things are expanding from the North to the South with new parties, producers, and other music happenings. 

Favorite club or party & why?

There are a few dance club that I like, but currently I can only recall Kodigo. Also, there are some art contemporary spaces that I enjoy going too such as MALI, House of the Peruvian Literature, and AMIL.
 
What are you listening to lately? 

I like to listen to ambient before producing a track and right now I’m playing Hiroshi Yoshimura’s discography. Every week I listen to new and unknown Latin records, searching for samples and hidden gems. I recently bought some Perez Prado records.


Anything coming  up soon ? 

There's a remix coming up on Rotten City Records from Madrid and two vinyl collaborations for new labels from UK and France to be hopefully releasing this year!
