Oh what a night!! 🪩💃🕺 Wild scenes and 10k ppl on Liverpool Road after Castlefield Bowl was filled for a fireworks fest. The last 1.5 hour-ish is mostly weirdos cueing up my records and a few bits of me. Crazy loose fun party vibes. Public toilet!! Earlier portions of the mix I had some focus and sounded nice I think ;) Please understand one thing - you were not there, thus you cannot ever see how damn distracted I was, or what the crowd was like! :D

A local producer comes onto the stage on the 30th of April! Be sure to come down for some original sound flavours~

Jules David is an Australian DJ & producer based in Naarm, born in 1990. Jules has always been strongly affected by mininal/micro & deep house tunes and the evolving flavours present in all kinds of music.

His DJ sets tell stories of the various underground flavours that are most inspiring to him, drawing much influence from the underground dance music scene in Australia and abroad.

As a producer his music has touches of avantgarde mixed with elements of dub, whilst remaining irresistibly groovy.

Since an early age, he was exposed to a wide variety of sounds and different genres.
It was Drum & Bass which first introduced him to the vast sonic landscapes of electronic music, after eventually developing the taste for all various flavours of house and techno.

He is currently working on a number of upcoming EPs, including for the Naarm label Motion:Theory:Music, who he helps to manage alongside fellow DJs Ben Abrahams & Katharine.

He is currently a resident DJ with the Over crew who frequently put on events at Killing Time, and has played for many underground parties and crews throughout Naarm over the years. But his passion remains in the fun of making beats, and the search for that certain frequency, soundscape or dubby groove 🙂

Berlin-based DJ & producer diexx aka Juarés has perfected his signature cross between the electronic sounds of his new home with those of his old one in Mexico, mixing them into incredibly imaginative sonic fabrics that are both hypnotic and mesmerizing.

Hailing from the Mexican capital, diexx has convinced crowds across Mexico and Europe with an eclectic mix that combines electronic grooves with world in uences,  shes in obscure territories, and ends in a wild vortex of dance. This exceptional DJ is at his best especially at small festivals and selected gigs!

The music selection of diexx has always been a pleasure, laying a percussive grooving  ow underneath surprises from all over the world, and introducing strange synths and trippy drums galore.
He has been turning more and more heads lately, showcasing a very unique and unpredictable style haunted throughout by obscure rarities.

Movement Collective thrives on walking paths that haven’t been beaten yet. A crew with an international scope and an attitude towards music that says “fresh only”. Founded in 2013 in Austin, Texas, Movement Collective is now double based in its founding city as well as Berlin, Germany.

With a diverse roster of selectors and producers, Movement Collective aims at giving an unheard and unseen spin to the scenes in Berlin and Austin. With an “esoteric” (Magnetic Magazine) understanding of electronic music, their selectors dig deep into the crates of house and techno music to deliver memorable experiences and broadened horizons.

Establishing GRÜV and MÜV events in Austin as well as TRANSPOSE in Berlin, the Collective sets out to provide sounds that are not necessarily typical for the respective cities. Introducing not only newcomers and genuine styles, but also bringing international bookings to places where they have not been heard yet is part of the Movements quest. There is a strong belief among its members that electronic music is dynamic, ever-changing and a heartfelt endeavour that needs love, care and passion.
