The third Bank of Switches release sees the effervescent Jake Beautyman flex some serious production muscle. Self Oscillating is a low-slung late-night affair with solid drums and some sumptuous acid. A nod to the deep while keeping the energy rolling. This is perfect fodder for DJs looking for something special.

Jake has been making a name for himself over the last few years in the DJ booth with regular appearances at fabric on the same line ups as Silverlining, Archie Hamilton, Craig Richards & Terry Francis. He holds residences at both Superfreq and FUMP and can also be found at the controls for Wiggle at venues like The Cause and MOT.

Jakes previous production output has seen him top the Beatport chart and receive play on BBC Radio One where he puts a modern twist on classic London style tech house with releases on Bombis, Household, Superfreq and more.

Flip the record for a harder edged, but no less deep remix by the one & only Steve O’Sullivan. This scene veteran has released tracks to much acclaim on labels such as Sushitech, Aku, Nina Kravitz’s трип and of course his own Mosaic & Blurtrain imprints.

Since 2022, Matt Friedrich has been DJing, planning events, and producing music as Freddy M. Freddy’s dedication to the underground dance scene in Seattle has brought several outstanding international and domestic acts to local clubs and underground venues alike.

Freddy’s style can range from dark minimal techno cuts to an eclectic fusion of funk and 80’s femme pop sounds, with the right tracks for any dance floor. In 2023, Freddy had 3 releases on the @betweenthelinescltv imprint, and he has a new single “Resquared” forthcoming on Chicago’s @aathee May 24th.

Movement Collective thrives on walking paths that haven’t been beaten yet. A crew with an international scope and an attitude towards music that says “fresh only”. Founded in 2013 in Austin, Texas, Movement Collective is now double based in its founding city as well as Berlin, Germany.

With a diverse roster of selectors and producers, Movement Collective aims at giving an unheard and unseen spin to the scenes in Berlin and Austin. With an “esoteric” (Magnetic Magazine) understanding of electronic music, their selectors dig deep into the crates of house and techno music to deliver memorable experiences and broadened horizons.

Establishing GRÜV and MÜV events in Austin as well as TRANSPOSE in Berlin, the Collective sets out to provide sounds that are not necessarily typical for the respective cities. Introducing not only newcomers and genuine styles, but also bringing international bookings to places where they have not been heard yet is part of the Movements quest. There is a strong belief among its members that electronic music is dynamic, ever-changing and a heartfelt endeavour that needs love, care and passion.
