Soundscapes, klankinstallaties, audio-documentaires, field recordings, live elektronische muziek…. Je wordt hier ondergedompeld in de grenzeloze mogelijkheden van geluid als een op zichzelf staande kunstvorm maar ook in relatie tot film of beeldende kunst. We beginnen met de basis: geluiden opnemen, het monteren en manipuleren van geluiden en het creëeren van een klankmontage. Hierbij maak je o.a. kennis met verschillende types microfoons, luidsprekeropstellingen en soorten software zoals Ableton Live, Audition of Pure data (interactieve installatiekunst), ook analoge elektronica komt aan bod. Je krijgt in deze cursus alle vrijheid om op jouw tempo te experimenteren en de mogelijkheden te onderzoeken. De focus ligt op het artistieke en het persoonlijk traject!  Een goed werkend paar oren en een basis computerkennis zijn voldoende om aan de opleiding te beginnen.
