Moving Statues is an Alternative Rock band hailing out of Mission Viejo, Ca. In the summer of 2013, Guitarists Chase Boyle and George Macias collaborated to create a new musical project in hopes to complete a full band lineup in the process. Chase’s heartfelt and engaging lyrics drew a crowd while performing solo, while George’s unique finger-picking style has proven to be appealing the eye and even more intriguing to the ear. They combined to perform as a duo, making their presence known in the OC music scene. They entered the recording studio with drummer Bryan Russak and Bassist Mitch Gonzalez to finalize the lineup and track what they had been working on. They continue to perform local shows and are writing new material for their next release. Their EP is currently in the works, and will be released at the start of next year.
