"It Changes Name" by Laxá & Heima Kvartett is a dynamic interplay of contrasts. Driven by Matthias Helguson's relentless drum & bass groove, Mike Taylor’s synths carve through the mix with sharp, shifting textures. The track gradually resolves into a more introspective section, where Natasha Guðmundsdóttir’s viola and Ída Sigurðardóttir’s cello take the lead, supported by delicate strings and restrained guitar work. Just as the atmosphere settles, Taylor returns with a piercing synth line, disrupting the calm and reshaping the track’s identity once more.

Chronic Condition is a punkish indie rocker with an irresistible beat and hook. Its about how the human experience the progress and setbacks, trials and tribulations, advances and declines of individuals and societies is like a feedback loop through time. The names and settings change, but the story always turns out the same. Its a chronic condition, just the latest rendition. Featuring a guest appearance by Elvis.

Jeremias Langsämmer – As The Light Dims Slowly
A piano-led meditation unfolding at an adagio pace, As The Light Dims Slowly channels the hesitant phrasing of Erik Satie. Cello, violin, and soft strings offer gentle support, moving in and out of the piano's uncertain light. Sparse and reflective, the piece lingers in moments of pause as much as in sound, capturing the hush of evening as it slowly gives way to night.

This track was originally a poem and I asked my collaborator and producer, Josh Elliott, to come up with a sound like a cross between Celtic Music and Triphop.

Comely, alive, 
Share your memories;
Gliding past my window,
Muttered tones so sweet.
Psychedelic garments,
Flashback to dreams,
Speaking in Shelta—
All is not quite what it seems.

The goddess always at my door
I hesitate; I’m just not sure.
Throwin’ shapes and droppin’ hints
Her forest dweller’s third eye glints.

Renounce, surrender, 
No more maudlin times in need;
Hurly-burly mischief making
The goddess will not feed...

Through the fjords of my heart
Firewood for the soul,
Its knowledge she’ll impart.

Hey, my name is Markus. In the past I've made Metal, Punk and Heavy Rock with my friends in my garage. I played the bass guitar and sometimes vocals. But that was way back (in the 90s). Now I produce my own songs at home and upload them. The music styles are from Metal, Punk, Rock to House and Dance, just everything I like.
