Marc Romboy Releases First Club Album In 15 Years On Awesome Soundwave  “Music Made For Aliens” 

It is with a singular pleasure that we welcome Marc Romboy to the ever growing stable of live artists at ASW!

Marc Romboy is an artist renowned within the electronic scene for his eclectic, boundary-pushing approach and decades worth of experience working both behind the scenes and behind the decks. 

In recent years he has embraced performing live as another creative outlet and, indeed, creative challenge. As an artist and performer, Marc has always pushed the boundaries of his creativity and this, Marc’s first club album in 15 years is a true masterwork of techno from one of the masters of the genre. 

Marc’s output has been exemplary and with his inspiration rising for performing live he now brings us the wonderful “Music Made for Aliens”. A work of true electronic inspiration. Marc will be performing live at ASW events coming up soon.

"Hey everyone, I'm thrilled to share my latest track, "Papa," with you all. This one is incredibly personal to me as it was created to honor my dad who passed away almost a year ago. Losing him was one of the most difficult moments of my life, and for a long time, I found it challenging to talk about my emotions and the impact his loss had on me.

But then I found a way to express my emotions through music. "Papa" is a melodic techno track with analogical synth melodies that allowed me to process my grief and connect with others who have experienced similar loss. The track represents my journey in music and how my dad's unwavering support for my passion helped shape me as an artist.

My dad was always there for me, supporting my love for music and my work, and it's something I'm eternally grateful for. He always believed in me and my dreams, which is why "Papa" is my way of expressing my gratitude and respect for him.

Following recent outings on Aus Music, Rejected and Knee Deep In Sound, Steve Bug returns to his own Poker Flat Recordings for his first solo release on the label since 2021's Montafon. 

Despite maintaining a prolific release and remix schedule, it's been quite some time since we've been treated to a pure, unadulterated Steve Bug original on Poker Flat. 

So we're very pleased to present Alto Adige: a fantastically deep and typically meticulous two-tracker set to scratch that particular itch. 

Alto Adige is a patient slow-burner, kicking off with a muted synth line that gradually opens up as the track progresses, building to a deeply satisfying crescendo in the break. 

Trentino is similarly minded, with the addition of rising strings and a beautifully epic synth lead adding even more drama to proceedings.

Denise Schneider is a German artist who has already charted No.1 in Beatport's peak time techno section with her remix of Nils Van Gogh's "Pulverturm".
