I teach in US higher education (in a STEM field) & am a hobbyist composer writing in a few different styles. I recommend headphones. All of my music is released under a Creative Commons Attribution/Noncommercial license.

My bandcamp page is getting out of date again, but some older albums there can be downloaded for free or for a name-your-own price donation.

If anyone wants to try performing any of this stuff on real instruments please send a message and I can provide scores. Not sure how playable some of it is for human musicians though.

Most of these tunes were done during 2005 to 2008 on FL Studio - there are also a few new tracks done on Reaper and some older tracks from the 90s.

I'm not a fan of hot mastering so my tracks may be quieter than many others of soundcloud but they have a nice dynamic range.

It's been a joy to have people listen and comment on the music - many of these tracks were only heard by a handful of people so it is always heartwarming to get listens and feedback - thanks :)

I can't play any instrument proficiently, nor can I read music. I have a love-hate relationship with making music because it takes so long and often doesn't amount to much. However, when things come together, the whole practice seems worthwhile and rewarding.
