‘Submerge’ is the fourth single from Jerome Thomas’ pending project of the same name (19.07. LP & Digital) and is a beautiful slice of contemporary Jazz/R&B with all the melodic dexterity of the golden age. This last drop before the reveal, reaffirms the ever-present balance of the artist, with ‘Submerge’ - like the tide - gently rolling forward to a place of pure love and devotion. Summer of 2023: Koralle wants to escape the heat of Bologna for a few weeks. He is heading South and rents a small hut by the sea near Ravenna. One night he meets Francesco Giampaoli, a seasoned jazz & world musician at a bar on Bas-sona beach. The two had worked on music before and Koralle visits Francesco the next day at his studio which is stuffed with analogue gear and instruments. He stops by every single day for the next weeks and the duo creates some incredible strange music that we are happy to share with you over the next months. “Sono Qui” is the first single.

Waywell’s deeply soothing guitar riffs combined with LESKY’s crisp production make for a perfect blend of cosmic lofi and subtle yacht rock vibe. LESKY, born in Leipzig, moved to Georgia in early 2021 to pursue music full-time. Creating his own soundscape fusing mellow neo soul keys, trap infused beats and samples flipped beyond recognition, LESKY has garnered widespread acclaim, securing his place as a regular in the biggest editorials of the lofi phenomenon. He has released five EPs and full-length album “Meraki” on Melting Pot Music, as well as several projects on renowned labels like Blue Note Records/Astralwerks and Lofi Girl. Waywell has been self-releasing singles and EPs since 2017.
