“Same Old Me” featuring Turt is the second single from LESKY’s & Meadow’s forthcoming EP “Eterea”.

Introducing LESKY & Meadow, a beatmaker duo who is a little different from your everyday beatmaker duo (and we have trailerloads of duos out there...). LESKY was born and raised in Leipzig. He first dabbled in music by playing keyboard in a cover band while producing his first beats. Meadow started playing in the Frankfurt youth orchestra when he was 16.

LESKY ended up in Cologne where he is now working at MPM. Meadow moved to Braunschweig where he plays tuba in the local Staatsorchester. This is where he met Phlocalyst, who is also a good friend and musical partner of LESKY.

Fast forward to February 2020. LESKY and Meadow meet in Braunschweig for a 
48-hour marathon session at Meadow's home studio. They only leave the place once to sneak into the Oper Braunschweig to record some piano and sousaphone lines (if you are not familiar with the sousaphone check a live video by The Roots and feel the bassline...).

“Eterea” is the product of this session. The EP consists of five instrumentals and a rap track featuring London MC Turt (Summers Sons). Artwork courtesy of Maxim Tur, who also did the cover for LESKY's “Plata” EP.

Electronic producer and instrumental enthusiast John Hastings (aka RUMTUM) has a unique approach to crafting his melodic melodies. His latest four track EP is heavily inspired by solitude, nature and analog synthesis. Rather than focusing on the familiar, RUMTUM escaped to the mountains to create and record music that was more about the feeling and movement of each frequency. As a result, RUMTUM’s EP taps into a new level of consciousness in his musical life.

The Cleveland native (now based in Denver) offers a broad frequency; may it be his love for native spirits or even sea life, the natural world plays the biggest part in the dynamics of RUMTUM’s writing. From a young age his obsession for mixers and knobs grew into a passion for recording with found objects and handmade instruments. While learning drums provided the musical foundation to understand bass and guitar, an amazement of synthesizer and explorations into field recordings continues to inspire his craft.
