As we all perceive music in our very own and individual way, we connect sounds and melodies with moods, feelings and memories. „Perpetual Tales“ narrates those infinite possibilities of stories being told by music. The chapters of this EP are written and interpreted by Theo Gramal as an invitation to dream with them, feel them, dance to them. May they be shaped by playing around with instruments or be inspirations from travels or collaborations - each pattern, baseline or melody has been a little adventure and eventually will be a new one for you, your ears and your soul.

Young and promising Brazilian label TRAxX:Lab lands for the first time on our platform with a superb release from one of the most acclaimed producers of his generation: São Paulo-based Renato Cohen, who stood out back in the days with epic tracks such as “Pontapé” and “Suddenly Funk” (if you are not familiar with them, do yourself a favour and check them out), delivers now two powerful pieces with his signature sonority that pretty much represents the style of music the label intends to showcase.

“Fall Down” EP provides the kind of House Music & Techno bangers that would make any packed dance floor (we miss this!) explode and go crazy. On the remix duty, Gustavo Fk, whose collaboration we had the privilege of premiering/reviewing.

Remixing a tune by Renato Cohen must not be an easy task, but Gustavo Fk succeeded terrifically and delivered an extremely well-crafted interpretation. We dare to say it’s more piercing and affluent than the original, but only because Gustavo competently added elements and influences that paired perfectly with it. The even more bouncy bassline and the frenzied synth risers made us add this beast to the tracks-we-need-to-play-at-a-party-whenever-we-have-the-opportunity list. Play it at a peak time, peeps! Do not be afraid of wreaking havoc!

Mexico’s leading underground Duro Label is back with another incandescent EP, this time from Torreón based producer Macualay, who serves up fine three original deviant house cuts with a remix from Fabio Me Llaman Soltero. 

During last year's confinement, using the lowest lo-budget equipment and a microphone of dubious provenance, Macaulay together with his bastard clone DJ Papi created a new EP full of corrugated house, heavy kicks, fleshy basses and highly impure synths. 

Opening the pleasure feast  is ‘A Gozar’, a six-minute roller with ghostly buried synths, narcotic voices over  heavy drums and chubby bass. “Latinon”, the second original track and the first of the two collaborations with DJ Papi, is a HOT, clear example of Mexico's tech-mex sound at it's finest: an anthem for the sexy young souls of the forbidden latin warehouse party scene.

Up next comes “Meneitous”, a lewd lesson in total tension that takes the dancefloor to darker places. On the remix duties, Guatemala’s papi Fabio Me Llaman Soltero delivers a chunky tribal beat running through flailing percussion, delayed vocal sounds, and uncontrolled synths.

6 E.P. III is taken from Headman's 6 album, which was released last year on Relish. Includes Remixes by Manfredas, Alejandro Paz, Shift Work and Reworks.
Following on from '6 EPI' and '6 EPII 'vinyl exclusives, 6 EP lll is a full digital release with 200 vinyl copies and artwork specially screen printed by RELISH label head Robi Insinna. The release has 3 remixes by Manfredas, Alejandro Paz, Shift Work and Reworks and Dubs by Headman/ Robi Insinna. There will also be 2 Videos done by Robi, one for 'Something' and another one for 'Work' Manfredas version.
 
Manfredas, who released his single last year on Ivan Smagghes LDdlm, remixes 'WORK'. The additional lyrics are by Autarkic an upcomig singer / producer from Tel Aviv who is part of the Red Axes stable.

Alejandro Paz of Mathias Aguayo's Comemé label who has released tracks such as 'Duro', remixes 'TAKE ME TO THE TOP.' The remix reflects his raw dance floor approach whilst adding rhythm and groove to the origional

Shift Work a new London based electronic project, who made their debut on Optimo Music, remix 'SLEEP RED!' They've been described as "Machine music for hypno dance floors and home listening trance outs" 

Track 4 is Robi Insinna's own rework of 'SOMETHING' feat David Shaw on vocals. Robi's aim was to reinterpret the track, extend it and play around with the music as well as retouching and mixing the exsisting sounds. 'NUMBER 9' was also newly mixed with a new arrangement as well as extended. 'DONA' featuring Rosie from Ballet School, was given a dub treatment with a more monotonous driving groove and stripping down the original elements, like Bass and Synth and dubbing out Rosies vocals.

Finally comes 'TAKE ME TO THE DUB' Version, now with a real dub feel, muting things out and dropping them in again.

Part curse, part declaration, part Rorschach test, Varg's new collection of EPs is a barely balanced inferno. Side by side, raw club burners arrive from the wretched plateaus levelled out by chaotic neurotransmissions, while sweet and soft anthems take the pain away.

The first EP, Sky City: Even in the Heart of Heaven, Angels Can Still Feel Fear, affirms Varg's deft and agile take on techno. Here minimalism spars with blissed out programming, unafraid to pepper sedate hooks with intricate percussive rufige. With each track's eyes on the raving kru, Varg restates his permit to take it to the floor. It's foreboding, but it always has been—and Sky City: A Weak Heart to Break (Spit) makes this its method. Launching itself under the opening track's dazzling melancholic sweep, the EP loses its way in every direction at once by the last track's glitching gabber meltdown. Fair warning is required for the demonic and cosmically unhinged piece of rhythmic noise that begins the second side.

El concepto de dualidad representa el núcleo de este single. ¿Quién es Pedro y quién es Nina? ¿Son dos seres humanos diferentes o son la misma persona? ¿Es Pedro un hombre? ¿Y Nina? Lo único seguro es que este es el primer lanzamiento oficial de Populous y Protopapa. 

Durante años se los consideró casi una sola entidad. Una relación para toda la vida que va más allá de la amistad, compartiendo diferentes experiencias: DJs, diseñadores de sonido para moda y activistas queer.

Una relación fraterna nacida en las pistas de baile de Apulia y luego desarrollada en las internacionales. Dos planetas musicales que poco a poco se alinearon cada vez más entre sí y finalmente se superpusieron, con "Pedro" y "Nina". El techno de Leftfield, la música del mundo y la psicodelia son las coordenadas cósmicas para comprender a dónde conduce este viaje.
