Super Sharp Shooter X Mr Vegas- Heads High (Maars Edit)

DJ Badboe and Wiccatron's Brekabeat Paradise Recordings masterfully re-enter our charts with their singular approach to breakbeat and electro - this time with a mini compilation! The Danish label has to be given a shout-out for having always done what they believe in, and it's clear they got their strategy right. The numbers don't lie, and these guys provoke quite a few downloads on the ol' Juno system. Breakin The Riddim is a wild and diverse affair, full of sampling grace and brimming with party-ready material in every sense of the word. All of it, however, is heavily centered around break sampling and an audible 'ragga' influence - tunes from DJ Maars, Basschimp, Leygo, Cockney Nutjob and Fredy High are the only solution to any bashment or dancehall DJ wanting to fire the place up!

The Nextmen feat. Eva Lazarus - Ready

Taken from Origin One's recent "Deeply Rooted" album, "Nice & Easy" is a bouncing and bubbling hip hop infused reggae banger, perfectly crafted for summer and soundsystems in fields. Bristol's rising star Gardna supplies the chat, whilst Congo Natty cohort Nanci Correia drops the silky smooth chorus atop the shuffling skanking riddim, complementing each other perfectly.

On remix duties comes Mr Benn who flips the beat for a stripped back throwback dancehall affair, giving nods to a 90s classic, whilst Numa Crew's T-Kay turns up the energy for a massive drum and bass monster for the ravers. Nice and Easy!

Yak SHak - Cops And Wobbers Ft The Third Nipple

One of the biggest ever UK posse cuts, "Veterans" lines up 20 of some of the greatest UK MC's to grace the mic - from Roots Manuva, Rodney P and Ragga Twins, to Blak Twang, Navigator and Ty, who sadly passed earlier this year - the number of legends on this track is truly mondblowing. The original splashed down last year with a killer video showing how it all came together. So what better to do then give the track some remixes?

First up, US jungle don Liondub and Jah Boogs drop a heavy drum and bass monster, riffing on the classic bassline of the original. Next, original broken beat don and Bugz In The Attic mainstay Daz-I-Kue gives us a bruk-bashment flavour, sure to turn the heat up in any dance. Tru-Thoughts own Wrongtom goes for a rub-a-dub spin echoing a classic riddim and bassline, whilst label boss Shepdog dusts off his old mash-up skills for a soundclash of classic reggae and dancehall riddims (exclusive to Bandcamp)
