I wrote this song in 2003 I believe.  WOW, that was a long time ago. I was about to move to Canada with my partner at the time and I was scared for the move but also believed it was for the best and the right thing to do. I guess I was feeling driven at the time too. The song is an uplifting and motivational song about starting over, being positive and being the best that you can be.  I produced this track in 2013 and it was on my debut album 'Shades Of Red' (which I recently took off of spotify) and will be reposting in the near future.  You will hear lots of piano and harmonies too!  Would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks for listening! 

Best Of Me

I wrote this song in 2017 and recorded it on my third studio album 'Durban Girl'.  I was fortunate enough to record this album in Nashville with my wonderful producer friend Fred Molin. (Billy Joel, barbara Streisand etc). It speaks to those who have lost someone in their lives.  I like to believe that our loved ones stay with us or at come to visit to give us strength as we live our lives.  It's as if in our darkest moments, they are there saying "I have faith in you".

I wrote this song a while back after I had an 'awakening' of sorts.  I discovered meditation and my whole perspective shifted which changed my life for the better.  I wrote a song inspired by that time in my life... in fact, many of the songs from 'Durban Girl' were inspired by it.    Hope you enjoy it and if you do, leave me a comment so that we can connect!
