She looked into my chart and pointed out that the way the stars were aligned, my ego was reacting in a way that wasn’t really “me.” At first, it stung, but then I realized how right she was — and that awareness inspired me to turn it into music. Ego’s Lie is about how the ego twists our thoughts, convinces us we’re not enough, and makes us feel alone when in truth we’re deeply connected. I wanted to capture how those illusions fall away when we choose harmony over comparison, connection over pride.
