Lloyd Stellar is one of the alter ego’s of Dutch electronic musician Erik Griffioen.

His electro sound is characterized by machine-like beats, melancholic pads, vocoder-driven vocals and futuristic themes that often deal with the apocalyptic consequences of man's greed, the relationship between humans and machines and wars on distant planets.

In 2020 there are releases coming by Lloyd Stellar on Hilltown Disco, KinetiK Records, Gated, Crobot Muzik, Abseits Recordings, Intellitronic Bubble, Bella Ursa and Specimen Records.

DJ, producer, acid freak and lover of all kinds of music gear. Born in '81 in Barcelona. 

My influences come from techno, acid, italo-disco, ebm, stuff like early Warp records, chicago house, electro, disco, hi-nrg, acid house, new beat, early 90s trance, synthpop... a bit of everything really.

My setup is almost only hardware, the computer gets used mostly as an audio recorder. The sounds com from some classic analogs and drum machines and some newer gear too. Also guitar pedals, old 90s fx processors...

I also believe everything sounds better with a 303.
