My name is David Trung (“Ch-oo-ng”) Nguyen and I go by the name of R3WiND! Welcome to my world of Electronic Dance Music! For the record I’m just a small town, bedroom producer with big dreams! Just here to express my love of music in my works :)

I was born in Port Lavaca, TX, but raised in Seadrift, TX for the past 32 years of my life. My family and I were originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, but my parents decided to relocate to Seadrift, TX. Mainly because the Shrimping/Crabbing industry was booming around that time. 

People ask me who are my idols/inspirations:
DJ Babyboi & Tinman, Avicii, Kygo.. To name a few.

Why R3WiND? Well.. There's a lot of Dj Rewinds Out There..
The significance behind the '3' in my name is that if you flip the '3' the other way it'll look like an 'E'.. But why R3wind you ask? Well, when you finish listening to my music, you'll want to play it back. ;) Hence, REWIND. 
I grew up listening to Trance, Dance, and Freestyle music for most of my childhood to my early teens.. So I guess you can say I have an ear for the sound that has influenced me to this very day. I Can't thank all of you Dj's & producers enough.. Y'all have Pioneered the sound & showed us the way. I can't name you all here, but as to show my respect & gratitude- this is me carrying on the torch for you all in hopes to inspire the next generation. #KeepTheBreaksAlive
