Subsquad Prod present the part #13 of our serie of compilations, the 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐒𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐃. Each part presents the dub makers of a city (and its surroundings) through a compilation of 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 available for free download.

This thirteenth edition is dedicated to 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗴-𝗲𝗻-𝗕𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲 and presents 8 producers from this area.

The artwork is realized by Gseb, the mastering by Subsquad Prod.

Jaka & Max Romeo - Musica/Melt Away (BissoMaN RmX)

This track is not simply a remix, but a true reworking of a session between the legendary Max Romeo and one of the pioneers of Italian and Sicilian reggae music: Jaka. Recorded in Rome and included in his first album: "Love The People" (2004). 
To the notes of the beautiful "Melt Away," originally recorded by Lee Perry in the 1970s, Jaka duets with Max Romeo singing in Sicilian and poetically paying homage to the strength and overwhelming energy of the music. I hope I’ve brought a bit of shine and a more modern sound to the track, drawing attention once again to a classic that connects the roots of my land with Jamaican music, in the name of good musica!
