Consisting of 2 members: 5th Chyld (MC/Songwriter) and DJ Furious (DJ/Producer), Human Resource are dedicated to bringing originality, knowledge and positive energy to the Hip-Hop music table in a time of temporary pop trends and cheap gimmicks. Human Resource opens the listener up to a new train of thought, concept and clarity towards genuine, artistic rap.

JAHMOKO

Jahmoko is a newly formed originals reggae band, founded and formed in Perth, WA Nov 2011. Composed of local and international musicians with the majority originating from Aotearoa, New Zealand.

The meaning behind the name JAHMOKO is “the affinity and love we have for reggae music and Maori culture” (moko being the maori translation for grandchild and also tattoo). They consider themselves the grandchildren of Jah having grown up listening to legends like Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Peter Tosh, Herbs, Dennis Brown, Toots and the Maytals just to name a few. However we are not Rastafarian and we do not practice the religion but we love the music and movement of this ever growing genre, and have given it their own sound. Jahmoko members are family orientated thanks to their upbringing in Aotearoa and their culture, which is what they pride their identity on. Jahmoko’s aim is to share this love with the rest of the world through their own sound of Reggae, RnB, Rock and Hip Hop etc and infuse these influences in their own original way creating the unique sound of Jahmoko.

The Jahmoko LIVE experience is an unforgettable occasion, their presence and performance is so tight so real and so inspirational with songs to entertain, educate and enlighten all. So far they have supported Ardijah, Ria Hall, Paua, House Of Shem, Gramps Morgan, 1814, Foundation and the one and only KATCHAFIRE!

The band has wasted no time in spreading the good vibes all over and with them being well received, August 2012 saw JAHMOKO release an EP Album 'The Journey'. Their EP has been distributed throughout the iwi radio stations in New Zealand and has been rotating in the Top 5 of Radio Tainui, Moana and Maniapoto FM since its release. Also their track “Freedom (acoustic version)” is featured on the “Conscious Uprising” Aotearoa movement compilation album released in NZ 2012. 

Jahmoko is a class A headline act in their own right and are turning ears with loyal followings expanding daily. A professional and cohesive unit ready to make their own mark in the music industry here and abroad, currently unsigned and about to hit the studio to record their first full album.

KINGS has launched on to the NZ Music scene with a BOOM!
His first official release ‘Promise to you’, a collaboration with General Lee was chosen to be on the Ministry of Sound SessioNZ 2013. Kings wrote the track and sings the vocals. He played it to good friend Lee, and together they carved it into the huge dancefloor anthem that caught the attention of MoS. 

The combo knew they had something special and went on to craft a TRAP & BASS EP – TRANSACTION. 1 of the 4 tracks – AINT COMING DOWN was received very well and had the team playing together for some major events including, OUR:HOUSE, VODKA Illuminate Paint Party, Blue Sky Fiji and plenty more.

He Has, Since then Collaborated with a number of DJ’s including, Dj Bulletproof, Dan Aux, Jolyon Petch (Club Luxury), eSquire UK, Crazi Biza. Jason Eli, Jason Skedden (baby sitters circus). A number of these projects charted on JUNO and BEATPORT Charts. He has also had the privilege to produce for artists such as Jason Kerrison (op shop), Jamie Lee Wilson, Riqi Harawira and plenty more.

Dan Aux & Kings have a Collaborative Project – A^K releasing a tune “SIPPIN YAK” which has been well received, blogged and made a 5 a day Rotation on GEORGE FM. It will have the team performing their songs at BLUESKY 2015 & RNV 2015.

Kings has also recently received NZ ON AIR FUNDING for the single “JUMP” of his first solo album – The Awakening. Excited at what lays ahead in 2015 and beyond…Check him out today and come on the journey, Kings Looks forward to Rocking your Dance floor soon!
