Great back to back to back DJ session on the @dubsmugglers soundsystem at this year's @dimensionsfestival in Croatia, alongside @floatingpoints, Tom Smith from the ace Cosmic Slop night in Leeds, ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/211633616863/ ) all held together by the mighty MC Kwasi. Raised in South London on a diet of pirate radio and warehouse parties, Charlie Dark has been spinning records and igniting dance floors since the early eighties. If you ever caught his Blacktronica Parties at the legendary Plastic People then you’ll know that 'All forms of music in one room the way it used to be’ has always been his motto and his record crates run deep to live by that mantra.

Black Swan Lane and The Chameleons member MC Kwasi has worked with more artists and DJs than you could imagine. Possibly most famous as Mr Scruff's right wing man, the loveable MC was the host of the seminal Friends & Family events and has been featured on tracks with the likes of Suns Of Arqa, The Messengers, Mark Rae, DJ Vadim and Beatphreak.

>> Vanessa Freeman
Last but not least Singer, songwriter and performer Vanessa Freeman. Vanessa's voice is an experience to behold, immediately distinctive, unadulterated quality and sheer joy. Her live performances are spiritual, recordings timeless and her songs sublime. Vanessa's musical career started early when she joined the local church chorus at the age of twelve and her impact has been felt by many notably for the huge contribution to the acid jazz revival in the nineties.

Together they bring one of our most outstanding collective performances this year. Sit back and relax or get up and dance.

Hey young world
It´s the 4th Sunday of advent and it´s me myself & I behind the door of perception 22, Tom Wienland (Free Soul Inc.). So what to play early evening in a club that is filling up after the record fair had ended with hungry crate diggers, deck sharks & every kind of party people? In this short Waxsafari Live DJ recording I went for a classic blockparty party fire starter set , all across the midtempo  board, from New Wave Reggae, Modern Soul, Island Funk , Brazilian Samba, Slomo Disco, to Kraut Electro & French Boogie. Musical diversity is my key, I like to freestyle .The challenge with mysef is to improvise my selection on the fly..which results sometimes in a bit wobbly beat mixes, haha. Mistakes are human.
