Danny McLewin aka Skyrager is one of my favorite people on the planet. His ability to dig out rare unheard of bangers and drop them hot on the dance floor sums up all the reasons we love to go out. Based out of England, Danny travels the world spreading love through music with the group Psychemagik and under his solo moniker Skyrager. An avid record collector and dealer, I'm always so excited to comb through all his mixes. Before After Hours takes you on a blissful musical odyssey. Great back to back to back DJ session on the @dubsmugglers soundsystem at this year's @dimensionsfestival in Croatia, alongside @floatingpoints, Tom Smith from the ace Cosmic Slop night in Leeds, ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/211633616863/ ) all held together by the mighty MC Kwasi. Solid Steel (11th April) It's another special show this week, as we celebrate 30 years of Acid with an incredible mix by Posthuman to coincide with their last I Love Acid club night at Corsica Studios, London on Saturday 12th April. This is what they say about the mix;
"We put together this mix (with a little help from fellow I Love Acid residents Mark Archer & Placid) to celebrate 30 years of acid. 
We decided to pick one track per year, since 1984 - the year Roland stopped making the 303. Starting with Chicago House, expanding out into Detroit Techno and the evolutions in the acid sound from the UK & Europe, then into the late 90's Warp/Rephlex territory, right up to the present day."
The mix starts with Chris & Cosey's 1984 classic "Dancing Ghosts" and includes tracks from Phuture, 808 State, UR, Plastikman, AFX and Luke Vibert, who will be playing at the club night, plus their own new track 'Back to Acid'

A few years back, my friend Otis did a mixtape called ‘a time for peace’. It’s an effortless mix of melodic & vocally driven music which became a source of some of my favourite records that I was yet to discover. There was never a tracklist for it, but over the years, have found them serendipitously in record shops and had a few joyful moments when finally the needle drops on one of the tracks from this mix!
The past week has given me an opportunity to reflect on some of the records that I return to constantly, can get lost in & consider something else for a while. I hope that perhaps someone out there might find something in here that opens their ears to something new, can get lost in and one day have that needle drop moment too!
