Hailing from the heart of Baltimore, I’m an artist molded by the grit of the city and the spirit of legends like Nas, 2Pac, and DMX. My flow is raw, reflecting the struggles and triumphs of urban life, blending introspective lyrics with hard-hitting beats.

Growing up in Bmore, I faced the challenges of the streets, using my pen as a weapon to tell my story. Influenced by the storytelling prowess of Nas and the emotional depth of 2Pac, I aim to resonate with my audience on a personal level. Like DMX, I bring that relentless energy and authenticity, channeling my passion into every verse.

With every track, I strive to inspire and uplift, capturing the essence of my city while staying true to my roots. This is more than just rap—it’s a movement.

Louie made himself notable through a methodical approach to his craft - utilizing a musician's ear and songwriting mastery to set himself apart from the average Hip-Hop artist. Louie studied not only the important musical and lyrical content of his youth, but the strategic moves made by his influential forefathers in Hip-Hop and other genres.

With the release of his 2nd EP, Love Tapes Vol. 2, Louie masterfully produced a unique and infectious sound while keeping intact the integrity of his lyrics. Soulful and strong, Louie's lyrics touch on everything from love triangles, his upbringing, and the depression that almost ended his life. Dealing with contradictions and a poignant self-awareness, Louie revels in human nature and all it's-layers and complexities - a refreshingly honest approach. Elaborating on his style, Louie states that he absorbs as many different genres of music as possible in order to keep a fresh perspective at all times. He prides himself on being able to share his story as well as the stories of those who are unheard by the mainstream.

Without a DJ or producer to provide a beat, he industriously started creating his own music by teaching himself piano & guitar and developing technical expertise in Ableton Live.

Scout Dexter aka DogStar SMG is a Aboriginal Canadian musician from the Blackfoot Confederacy. he also goes under the name HonestKing on his acoustic tracks. his latest feature with long standing Calgary hip-hop artist Transit22 is on rotation at Brocket Alberta's Radio Station. March 10 will be the release date of another track done with Transit22. As a versatile artist he has over 20 tracks and 1 album along with numerous collaborations with Indigenous Artists all over Alberta.
