I am beyond stoked to welcome back on the Woodland Features controls - rapturious drum roll and deep throaty gasps from the audience please! - the Crane! It's been a hot second since we last had him on - and as a moment of behind the scenes, the last time he was on I made a bit of a tit of myself and asked him way too late or something and he couldn't exactly do the set he wanted and we went with the buzziest one...that's not really the finest Sunday dress but it got past the vicar. This time there's an extra special reason I didn't make an ass of myself and annoy my dear friend Stephen gently! Woodland Creatures is putting out his record For The Birds in May (this hasn't been social media announced so you heard it here) and thus this is the perfect time to get him back and doing the kind of set he heard in his mind and I always wanted. From downtempo to garage-y RnB doused skittering grooves and back again and out to IDM moments and back again from that it's really all over the spectrum just as we love it and just like his new record which - let me tell you -is so fucking great. I absolutely adore it, and him, and this mix and I am excited for you to experience all The Crane has in store for you from my good ship Woodland Creatures. First thing's first - this mix! Dig in!!
