A journey I dedicate to my fiancé Katey Sullivan and soon to be first child. I am so blessed to have you as the mother of our child. This progressive breaks mix is the most soothing and relaxing journey I have ever put together. This is the mix that we will be playing for our child while in her tummy. Thank you, Derek Steplight aka DJ D-Xtreme and Scott Copeland aka DJ Chronic for guiding me through this mix. You two would always ask me when we are going to have a child. A Progressive Dream

Host of the Kwerkshop Radio Show, Kwerk is a self-confessed late comer to the world of music production. Having owned turntables since around 1999, Kwerk finally burst onto the production scene in 2011 with the release of his debut EP; "The Kwerk EP". Since then, he has been nominated "best breakthrough act" at Breakspoll, worked with legends such as Specimen A, Vandal and Rebel Sketchy, released on multiple labels and gained respect from many-a-high-profile DJ and producer from around the globe. The last few months have seen Kwerk release his first artist album titled "Do Your Own Thing" and that's exactly what he is here to do today. So strap in, and get yourself a Kwerk-out.

for a while now, I've been stuck on a creative seesaw trying to balance writing techy club bangers and 'good music that comes from the heart.' to me, this track symbolizes a step in the right direction for my project - a glimpse into what I'm capable of if I consciously dig deeper and write about something that I, alongside countless others, can resonate with. "Worthwhile" is about the fleeting essence of childhood and blissful ignorance that all humans encounter through the onset of adulthood. it's a bit of a happy-sad theme, which I find the track to convey through its ironically sad lyrics and cheerful/hopeful motif. it's not often that I sing over my tunes, but i'm really starting to enjoy this added layer to the creative process and will definitely explore this territory more in the future.
