A Simple Song - When I began writing this track, I just wanted to experiment with syncopation a bit (read more about what that is here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syncopation) however, after I started it, I decided I wanted to make it an album track, and therefore started adding things like chopped vocals & nice chords to help it fit the aesthetic of the album. Following this I wrote Vitality (which acts as a prequel to this song).

Also - I legitimately think that this is a simple song, the track title is not supposed to be ironic, I've already had a few people tell me that they think it's really technical, but it's really not, it's just a little bit syncopated, I feel like melodically & structurally it's actually very simple.

URL - This was originally a remix of Fractal - Duality, but Monstercat wouldn't allow us to purchase a license from them to put this track on the album, so, I talked to Brady (Fractal) and he said that the only sample he could hear from the original was a Vengeance sample anyway, so we just re-branded it as an original track, seems it strays from the original pretty far anyway, and moved on with the release. 

The idea I had for this tune was kind of a squee'ish idea, or something along the lines of Phonat meets Eero Johannes or Boss Kite but slightly more IDM & vocal based, I'm really happy with the vibe I ended up pulling from it and I feel like I'll definitely be exploring this style in particular more in the future.

● Mindex had time to ride off on a tour with these tracks through multiple galaxies.
These tunes are checked out, and approved by dance floors and party-goers from 100 different planetary systems. The most freaky freaks, which you have never seen, were all raving to these low freaquency vibrations.
Sounds of this EP could be compared to a saturated rainbow of colors, compressed to a state of plasma and charged in to a sonic blaster, out of which Mindex is heating it up from the future; Hanging freely, out on a planet unknown by modern scientists, and constantly creating more and more new music of unimaginable forms, inspired by the beauty of alien muses, filling his body with vitamins of psychoactive fruits and vegetables.
Now, this varicolored blast of prisma bass from out of his blaster has reached us! United Colors Of Bass! It is the one and only possible name for these sounds!
Now we can get trippy, freaky and dance as well, and hope, that this blast from planet Mindex will be regular enough to keep our earthly butts in a nice shape!

So, about a month ago, I was in a little bit of a creative rut (and totally in denial about it) "Yeah, I can totally finish music whenever I want, I just feel like doing nothing & playing CS:GO instead" is what I would tell myself (and believe). One weekend, I decided I’d leave my studio (where I spend most of my time alone) and instead spent a few days with a friend of mine. As an extension of being around her I found that creativity was inherent within me (and everyone for that matter), it just required me to see things from a new perspective. Unfortunately, it's not something I can just alter at will, regardless of my awareness of it. So, I decided, seems my friend indirectly & serendipitously triggered an adjustment in my perspective that it should be acknowledged & named accordingly.

The reason I didn't put it out a month ago is because, I'd never planned to release this track, I planned to give it to my friend and that's it. However, after a month of sitting on it, we both decided it'd be nice to give it away for free, and it also correlates with the fact that I just hit 30,000 followers on Soundcloud, so, thanks for that! I'm so stoked that people are supporting my weird ass music this heavily ^_^

All we can tell you for sure is that this is not your big brothers dubstep. Yes it's 140 BPM, yes it has a drop or two, but this masterpiece by Mr. Bill and Virtual Riot creates something rare and amazing for the genre. A fork in the road that will inspire what is coming next.

So, here's a bootleg I did of an Alison Wonderland track. I hope you like it :) It started out as a collab myself and https://soundcloud.com/seppamusic were doing, but it changed so much in favor or my sound that he decided to gracefully step out and allowed it to just be a Mr. Bill tune. Naturally, I turned it into an Alison Wonderland bootleg/cover/flip/remix/whatever you want to call it.

I tried to get the acapella from Alison for this tune, but I don't think she wanted to give it to me, so instead I had my friend Alden (aka https://soundcloud.com/evokehop) sing it, and I think it turned out pretty good!
