This track is released 4th April on Traum on vinyl and digital as part of the Metaphysical EP. It's quite heavy on the effects, with a long wierd noise intro just for the craic! I've been starting quite a few sets with it recently, but if you want to mix it I guess you just have to start a couple of minutes in.

After releasing his debut single via UK taste-maker electronic label Black Butter, which went on to receive extensive airplay on all BBC Stations in the UK and support throughout Europe, the Swedish singer, multi instrumentalist and producer went on to release the next single "Turn Around" via Italian electronic label Life & Death. The single, accompanied by the original track "Boys & Girls" and remix by German producer duo Âme, soon made its way across dancelfoors and sets across the globe.

"In a lot of ways I escape in music," explains Sjodin. "It's a world where I feel home, where life is quite easy, where I can explore sides of me I didn't knew existed."

As the string-swept power balladry of "Tough Love" bleeds into the beatific melodrama of last year's "Turn Around", the tense, slow-burning summit of "Sweat" rises. The latter is Sailor & I's latest deep cut, the lead-off listen from an EP that also manages to turn a classic Joy Division track ("Disorder") on its head. Faithfully mind you, as a blank, drum-less canvas is coated in cold-pressed keys and a strictly '80s setup.

"I'm a bit terrified by the force of music," explains Sjodin, "and what it turns me into in the long run. Will it slow down eventually or will it go the other direction and make me insane? I have no idea, but I feel that it’s very important to keep exploring what is behind those invisible doors."

Next stop, the 'Lemon Squeeze'. This is the 2nd song of the upcoming album. A fun experience that captures Tryangle Man in his element. Following the success of his previous single 'House of Desired Funk' this new single is filled with grooviness, jazzy licks, and entertainment. Ludovico Einaudi - Elements (Eagles & Butterflies Remix) Snippet

A few months in and TAU, the label helmed by Adana Twins, is in the groove. Launched in August 2018, the outlet has given the Hamburg duo a chance to flex their A&R muscles, curating releases that showcase more established artists alongside up and coming talents, while allowing them to fully explore their own tastes.
TAU004 shines a light on Amberoom, a German trio comprised Manuel Tur, Adrian Hoffmann and Ramin Nouyan. The three men produce won- derfully warm, soulful, nourishing compositions which have already court favour with the Innervisions crew - their killer track ‘Kastell’ released on the much-respected ‘Secret Weapons 11’ compilation, and Dixon added his own “Retouch”. Veteran producer isolée steps up for remix duties on this one, too, making this an essential three-tracker.
The EP kicks off with ‘Tulu’ a stirring cut punctuated by a wistful male vocal complemented by a harmonious, yet sombre low end. Delicate twin- kles and emotive strings add depth as the track tugs on your heartstrings. This is a lush, measured composition with excellent programming on its organic-sounding drums and a contemplative atmosphere throughout.
Next up is the title track, ‘Jazire’, which picks up the pace immediately. A contagious 4x4 beat forms the foundation of this rousing number, which builds steadily into a cacophony of tribal-esque effects; shakers reverberating next to mysterious sounds that echo in and out of the back- ground. A melancholy melody gives this track extra emotional density, while the tension builds and subsides intermittently and the beat keeps those hips moving.
Lastly, isolée’s reinterpretation of the title track utilises a more traditional house motif, emphasising the shadowy atmospherics and injecting a more insistent beat. As the 4x4 rhythm pumps along, he adds clicks and skipping toms - pushing the energy levels up a notch. A dark, eerie tone pervades and isolée retains the sorrowful refrain from the original to complement his dour synth riff.
Adana Twins keep the standards high as TAU continues to impress with another exemplary release.
