Luc Van Del is no newcomer to the dance scene. The last few years has seen him push through on the production front, to take his music career in a more professional direction.

* Born 1977 in Brighton UK

* First Love for music was mother & fathers hi-fi record collection in the 80's.

* The late 80's was spent collecting old hardcore tapes and classic club anthems as well as programing home computers (that used tape decks to load and record data!)

* In 1991 Luc discovered the Underground dance scene at south-coast nightclub Sterns in Worthing for first time. This was promoted by a company called Interdance that showcased DJ's in a big way from all across the globe.

Music consisted of: 
Late 80's club anthems, House music, hardcore, D&B and Techno which although big in Germany and Belgium from DJ's such as C.J Bolland, Sven Vath, Westbam, Mark Spoon & Jam El Mar to name a few had rarely hit the UK at this time.
So when Interdance booked Techno Legend Lenny-D from Brooklyn New York, Lucs inspiration to start DJ'ing for himself was set in stone and he never looked back. Interdance also put M.C Stevie Hyper D along side Lenny One night to combine Mindblowing Industrial sounds. This rave set went on to become one of the most famous of all time being illegally recorded from copies or robbed original cassette tapes which were innocently lent out never to be seen again! (which looking back is rather ironic as M.C Stevie Hyper D mentions on the tape "No Pirates...Now Now"
The sets were always recorded on to D.A.T and sold as mixtapes which Luc would collect from Famous underground record shops such as Jelly Jam, H.M.V, Buzz Base, Dance 2, Click Click-Whirly Bleep Bleep, H.V.R Rounder records, Inner Rhythm amongst others and Virgin where Luc found the notorious Force Mass Motion's "Feel the Panic" on Rabbit city label. 

In those days so little copies of tracks were pressed due to expenses and many other reasons, so Luc would improvise by investing in a two Stedio channel mixer made by a company called Kam (Made 2 Fade) or other mixers and proceeded to input two Sony Walkman tape players on each channel and expermenting. This enabled you to merge the tracks together simultaneously but of course in reality there was no control over intro's and outto's because they were mixed. Also Luc was not familiar with pitch at this time until he invested in a pair of Technics SL-BD22's finally updating to SL-12-10's the industry standard in 1994. 
From that point on club work booking's and rave sets flowed in for him. All went well for Luc for a While and he became the Resident DJ for Local Nightclub. Here he mixed up records and cd's playing house, Euro flavored sounds, early trance, hard house and techno tracks making many friends along the way. 

In the mid 90's It was not unusual for many DJs' to play the whole night as opposed to now days where each DJ has One or Two hour duration in general.

A few years past until in 1997 one of the worst tragedies' a DJ could endure happened to Luc Van Del, 90% of his record collection was stolen. This gives shivers to any DJ especially if you've not backed up your entire collection to Cd. 

In 1997 He invested in a PC computer and ventured into producting running a processor of 400 MHz and some software called Fruity loops, Acid and started to make beats with many running problems along the way. Latency Delays, loss of data and various other problems were slowly overcome with time and experience, while still attending the three year music course. At one point Luc was even teaching the Tutor techniques too.
During the Summer of 1997-2008 Luc met up with some fellow Ravers and DJ's from other nightclubs and with there help preceded to expand the studio with some more outboard equipment. During this time Luc also helped set up many other studios for friends and shared knowledge while gaining more techniques from them in return.
