It was in 2002 that "Invention" was released. Although not being on itunes for a while now (a situation I plan to reverse this year), it is wonderful that on occasion I receive interest in hearing one or two of its songs live or in a mix somewhere. This Muggle Born from that same record, and the title is up to your own interpretation.

I really liked Alanza's https://soundcloud.com/aalanzaa/disquiet-0367-trio-initiate-monosynth-study and wanted to make something to pair with it. After some.... failed experiments... I decided to practice percussive patches with the Euclidean Circles v2, a fantastically useful little module.

Patch notes: The only sound source is my Cs-L. It's wave folders feed first into the Morpheus, set to InHarMetric, then into a reverb. The triangle outs are mixed with sub-octaves and blue noise, then hit the Dynamix, The Ring modulated out of the Cs-L goes through a regular VCA and then into the Aux input of the Dynamix. The Dynamix  sum out then feeds into Ripples, set as a low pass filter with a *lot* of resonance . After mixing  everything passes through another low pass filter to clean up a bit of noise. A quick trip through the Chronoblob 2 provides the  effect at the end of the track.
